I thought the work was too much for one person to handle but Dwight continued slugging away for 13 hours and finished the work. The stones we had put on our front stairs were failing after 15 years and there were a number of bricks starting to break down on our over 40 years old house. Since we are a corner lot our home is exposed on 3 sides and a lot of snow, ice and rain damage occurs. I was very impressed by this very personable young man and the work ethics and diligence he showed. His professional attitude towards the work and his constant double checking the alignment of the stairs and bricks with levels assured me everything was being done of the highest quality.

Online quoting is convenient, if a bit fussy going back and forth, but sending accurate pictures of the job is important. Pricing seemed fair. Our only problem with our initial project was the timing of arrival. Stephen arrived about an hour and a half after the appointed time. Stephen did text to let us know he was unavoidably delayed, and it appeared to be one of those things and not representative of their usual service. We are going to try them again on another painting project and are confident it will go smoothly.

I had a few small things to be done in my apartment: painting the bathroom and installing a couple…read moreof curtain rods. The handyman showed up right on time and was efficient, friendly, neat, and very well-organized. He started by applying one coat of paint to the bathroom walls, telling me right from the start that, in his experience, it was going to need three coats to cover the colour underneath. Since I had been given a quote for two coats, this would be a bit extra to the estimate. Once the first coat of paint had been applied, he installed the curtain rods and hung the curtains for me. The installation is now very sturdy and the place looks much nicer. He then went back and did the second coat of paint. He had me take a look at it after, to decide whether I was OK with it as it was, or if I would like the third coat. Although there is a very, very slight remnant of the former colour, I decided that I was OK with that because otherwise everything in the room would be too white. Overall, I am very pleased with the result. He was extremely neat and cleaned up after himself, although I didn't see that he made any mess anyway. I guess the only downside for me is that I find their prices a bit on the high side and that's my reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. However, in fairness, I should probably have asked more questions beforehand and/or had more than one company give me an estimate. I recognize that things in general are a lot more expensive these days.
