So I called another company and the other driver from Seven Eleven came at the same time as the driver I called and I was told that since I did not cancel, I was charged $25! I paid out of frustration as their policies do not indicate a $25 charge anywhere ($10, if anything) or that you cannot cancel through the app if you called. https://seveneleventaxi.ca/terms-of-service/ I spoke with customer service and their only reply was that they needed to update their policies. I didn't catch all the logic, but was thinking the whole time that a guy with this personality would be great in NYC. It was a short ride and we gave him cash, including a nice tip. Finally, frustrated we called Beck Taxi and they arrived within 15 minutes - she was on her way 1 1/2 hours after her scheduled appointment time.
