Soggy quesadilla. Waited ten minutes for our drinks. Girlfriend got her food in a decent amount of time. Twenty minutes later I'm sitting here wondering where mine is. No drink refills. Had to hunt down our waitress to get refills, ask where my food is, and ask for a replacement quesadilla as my girlfriends plate is a watery mess of rice beans and soggy tortilla and spinach. Still waiting on my food, even after her replacement quesadilla arrived. Employees scrambling around. Go to las molcajetes instead. This place is a huge disappointment. Overpriced with small plates, I ordered bbq nachos supposedly a full plate but it had maybe 14 chips and 2 bites of meat, along with a forced gratuity on a party of 4. On the menu was $11.99 and the total was $20.50. Avoid this business read more

The teens in my family look forward to being treated to dinner at "Guad". They have remodeled on the inside and it is roomy and has comfortable seating. My experiences with them is that they always greet at the front door. Someone comes right on and takes our drink order and ask us if we are ready to place our order. With teens, we always have to ask for a few minutes so they can get their orders together. We always receive our food in a few short minutes. I've been going here for years an I've never had to send food back. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is always calm. The bathroom is clean and stocked well with paper towels, tissue and hand soap. Getting to go to "Guad" to eat is a treat for us. The employees make it worth the time and money we spend. I'd definitely recommend them to others and would feel confident they will have a great experience as well. The food is awesome! read more

I was looking forward to eating here. The young lady that served us was good. Service was prompt and food came out fast and hot. I ordered a jumbo Lime Margarita expecting it to be on he rocks but it was frozen. It was good and strong. My husband had a 32oz draft. Their drink prices are awesome and they were as good as expected. Unfortunately, my Chile Verde was awful. Presentation was mediocre and the amount of salt was horrendous. No taste or heat to the Verde all I could taste was salt. After 3 bites I asked the server to send it back. She did with a smile and apologized and asked if I wanted to see the menu but I said no thanks and my husband shared his Molcajetes, fish, shrimp & chicken, and it was good but not much in flavor( a little heavy again in the salt). The server removed the Chile Verde from our check which I appreciated. It's also very loud in the room we dined in off the bar. Children were loud and a group of 4 men finishing up their dinner and drinks were loud as well raising the noise level of children near by. This place is great and I'm already looking forward to going back again. The chips were warm and salsa was spicy but not too hot. I ordered the lunch chicken fajitas and received a very generous portion which tasted as good as it looked. The service was good and the waitress was friendly. read more

Terrible Food and Terrible Service. Food was greasy and had very "off" flavors. Guacamole was served on a hot plate which caused it to be hot, tastes old. Fajitas were okay but I have had better. There was also a lot of playing around between staff members. One gentleman in an affliction Tee-shirt seemed to think it was funny when another customer complained about his food. The waitress came to ask about our food and we told her out complaints and her response was sorry but I don't cook the food, I assume this was her attempt to salvage her tip which inadvertently cost her any tip. When we went to check out a gentleman was at the counter and took our card, then swiped it and said their Internet was down. We had no cash and offered to go to Wal-Mart to get some and he said we had to leave out license with him. I understand that to be an illegal offense unless agreed upon prior to any service offered. He then said we had to stay until the machine was working or leave a license. I stayed and my buddy went to Wal-Mart to get cash. I do not recommend this poorly run establishment to anyone. Taco Bell is better quality and much cleaner. I do wonder when their last board of health inspection was and what the score was. read more

REALLY good Mexican food and this from a Texan! We always try to find Guadalajara when we're in this part of the country. We love our Mexican food and this is right up there with the best. Food was not good. Servers and kitchen staff were hooting and hollering - very unprofessional. Ordered cheese with chorizo for their chips, and they brought me a bowl of cheese and dark grease. DO NOT waste your money. Taco Bell serves better Mexican food. read more

Guad is a great spot to get some small town, authentic Mexican food and an ice cold beer.

They are very rude they get an attitude when you send your food back because its not right. Their cheesedip was liquidy and we were told " that's the way it comes, they only make it one way." That's a lie the dip always be thick. Then the manager told us "He'll take the dip off this time but next time he won't take it off the ticket and next time you'll be charged rather you want it or not." There will NOT be a next time. My family and I will NOT be returning. read more
