They fail to speak in a Professional, Courteous, Respectful Manner especially when our children are speaking to them Respectfully Guang Hui, are Rude, snatch the money out of their hands, No Thank U. It was not bad actually! Quick Chinese food if you are in a hurry! Location: It is located in Coop city. It is inside a building that you might get lost. It small store with no seating inside Service: i called before i pick up and got my food in 5 minutes. Food: so I ordered lunch special SESAME chicken and I'm 100% sure what I got is sweet and sour chicken LOL! But it didn't matter because it was good the chicken was crispy outside and the sauce was good. The fried rice was little dry but flavorful. I ordered EGG DROP SOUP and it was warm and really good. Price rating: 6/10, it was not bad. Typical chinese food price I will definitely come back here if I am in Coop city. Hope they get my order correct next time read more

First let me say that even though this restaurant is close this is the first time I've ever ordered for delivery from here. I ordered the spare rib combination for delivery. When the delivery guy came he kept some of the change for his tip. I told him to give me my change and if I want to give him a tip I would. So he ended up getting a smaller tip than what I would normally have given. When I took the food out of the bag the first thing I noticed was that all the rooms were burnt. I called the restaurant with my complaint and they tried to tell me that that was barbecue sauce. He really tried hard to explain that it was sauce. Umm I guess then the sauce was burnt. The fried rice wasn't good either but the egg roll was pretty good. I only ordered from here because the one I normally would order from was closed today and I was feeling lazy and didn't want to cook. Lesson learned! I will not order from here again. read more

Posted this on Google: Food is okay. However when getting food delivered, delivery person lied about price and tried to walk away without giving change to me. When I asked them to pause and give me my change (I asked for less for their tip) they got mad that I asked for the money back. I had to repeat myself until they gave me my change back and when they finally gave it to me they tried to argue with me. I had to close the door in their face. Again, I was already giving them a tip, but they felt they deserved all the change. Really rude delivery person. read more

I've lived in Co-op City for the past 19 years now and of all the Chinese food establishments I've eaten from, Guang Hui has the absolute worst cooks I've ever had the unfortunate experience of tasting what they prepare. Under-seasoned, Greasy, and some of their preparations are Under-cooked FOR EXAMPLE: the Fried Rice. Nothing worst than paying for under-cooked rice. Paying for rice kernels with shrimp in it is absolutely disgusting. I recall this place being closed down for several months back in 2012 for a bad safety rating. It was so bad that the community petitioned for new management. It's also quite obvious that the cooks and other staff feel complacent having their business in our community because their attitudes are just as bad as their food. They yell at the customers, they are argumentative, disrespectful and rude. The delivery people are disrespectful and greedy for big tips. The people who answer the phones are dishonest and inpatient and do not respect the old adage of "The customer comes first" I recently placed an order costing $36 whereby I receive a free soda. It was something I forgot about. When the delivery guy brought my order I opened up the bag and saw the soda in the bag and recalled the "free soda" thing when you purchase over $20 but it was not my soda of preference also considering the fact that the phone person did not ask me what kind of soda would I prefer. I called the phone person and explained to that person that I had forgotten about the free soda crap, and I stated to the person that I was not asked what brand of soda would I prefer and the person began to babble for which I could not understand a word the person was babbling about and I simply reminded the person that I am the customer and I pay for what I choose to eat or drink and you do not choose for me what I should drink for "free" After reading this person the code of ethics this phone person said to me that I talk too much and of course I agreed with this person and also reminding the person that I AM THE PAYING CUSTOMER. This place is a disaster Very Unprofessional and apparently Spoiled by Co-op City. I intend to address this matter to a higher power and I will NEVER do business with that chinese fast food joint ever again. I went back to this place because it is convenient. The same problem exists. The order is never ready even after calling it in 20 minutes earlier. The owner was hollering at me, telling me we don't open until 11 and it takes time for things to heat up. Another customer got into it, supporting the owner saying they got a little bit of a later start today because of the weather please have patience. If they knew the weather was not going to be good, they should have left their home earlier just like I did when I got to my job on time today! This time I'm really done! read more

Okay, so I've been living around the area for a while but never tried this Chinese spot (mainly because when I first moved here it had a "B" inspection grade). It is many years later (the spot now has an "A") and its is my winter break from grad school. I've been craving Chinese and decided to stop by this place. I will keep it short and sweet.
