Was NOT able to finish even after giving SS number, DL number, address, full name and all the pertinence asked for. So...I called them and some person who barely spoke English wanted me to give him my FULL SS number over an OPEN LINE so he could verify my identity. NOT happening. Seems as though none of these incompetent people can perform an identity verification with all the info they could possibly need. To make a long story short, I opened an account with First United with ZERO problems. Walked in and was greeted professionally and out in less than 30 minutes. First the lady took exceptionally long to start working on my deposit. Then gave me a line on how they had to have a manager approve it because the check was to large. The atm has never had a manager to approve checks of this size. Then the manager came over apologized for the delay but then tried to use the opportunity to pitch a new banking account. For sure no customer service quality here.
