Robert Hammond (one of the owners) used vulgar language and even resorted to name-calling when I notified him that Sussex County failed the footing inspection. Robert's lack of respect and professionalism made the situation even more frustrating. I would not recommend Liberty Concrete and Home Enhancements LLC to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled contractor. If you're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and treats their clients with respect, LOOK ELSEWHERE! The experience of dealing with Robert and this company has been a complete disappointment. Fortunately, another company was able to work around their screw ups. Now to further fix Liberty's screw up we will be hiring a Landscaper to "hide" the poor curb appeal caused by this company! Do yourself a huge favor when looking for a contractor do your homework and LOOK at ALL reviews before you hire. In response to your comments on this. Perhaps before you call anyone a liar why don't we take a look at the text between us with you admitting to your fault, the proposed completed structure as submitted to Sussex County, and also the failed first footing inspection which you claim didn't happen. As far as the name calling the text clearly show who actually was the name caller and shows how you twist things. There were no lies on any forum (actually 4 not 7 including the BBB). Robert, this has gone on far to long, maybe instead of wasting your energy in trying to discord our honest review about the work you have done for us, you should move on. We have owned our mistake of not doing a vigorous search to review your business before hiring you. Going forward we certainly will not hire any contractor without first doing an extensive search of reviews. If you want to post pics of work another contractor done to fix your screwups then by all means go for it. As for the paperwork, each document is fact including your failed footer inspection you claimed didn't happen. This particular document was taken from the Sussex County website. Now are you going to claim the county is lying as well? I am not going to continue back and forth with you and will not engage in your childish tantrums. The public can come to their own conclusion. My review is honest and backed up with documents. You seem to have a problem owning your mistakes.

Dry Zone adverses "once applied, Sealant Pro works to blockwater and chemicals from gettiing into concrete.This protects the slab from the damaging effects of freezing and expanding water has on the concrete surface, virtually eliminating pitting, flaking, and spallng." It did nothing to protect my driveway. It's a mess! I am not sure what type of coating was put on , but I paid for Sealant Pro. They were no help at all in solving the problem and would not take any responsibility and did not respond when I asked for a referral for concrete engineer to determine whether the failure was on their part or on the part of the concrete company that did the installation. First, they said it was caused by the salt, then they switched to saying the concrete was bad.

Before the plumber arrived, I had already done some troubleshooting and explained that the leak became worse when water was being used in the house and slowed significantly when I shut off the main water supply. The plumber briefly looked around, noticed a small amount of water in the HVAC condensate pan, and immediately concluded that the air conditioning was the cause. He would not seriously consider the information I provided or investigate other possible plumbing-related causes, despite the clear pattern I described. I felt like my observations were dismissed without a thorough evaluation. On top of that, there was a non refundable fee of $179 for the visit. When you're dealing with a leak that is actively damaging your home, you want someone who will methodically diagnose the problem rather than jump to a conclusion. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I hope the company takes customer concerns more seriously and performs a more comprehensive assessment before ruling out other possibilities.

My French drain was clogged so water was seeping into the basement. Todd came out, evaluated the…read moresituation, and provided a very reasonable estimate to clear the drain. He then said they were quite busy and could not do the job for 5-6 days. However, he thought another customer may be postponing a job and if so, he could be here in 2 days. Sure enough, he called the next day to tell me he could be at my home the following day. Once he got here, Todd did a number of things to clear the blockage. It must have been quite a large clog because it took some time and effort but he did not stop until he was absolutely certain that the drain was clear. He then cleaned up the basement floor of any dirt and water before he left. I could not be happier with Todd and Basement Pros. If I ever have any other issues with water, mold, or cracks in my basement, I will definitely call them first.
