The technician barely looked at the job for 30 seconds before giving me what I felt was an outrageous quote. After I posted a review, the owner contacted me and made things right, so I changed my review and decided to give the company another chance. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. I recently had an emergency and needed my sewer ejector pump replaced. The technician quoted me $3,571 just to replace the existing pump with a new one. I had already agreed to the replacement when he came back and told me the owner wanted to replace all of the existing piping as well because they said a 2-inch line was needed to meet current code. I said no--and thank God I did. I found the same pump at Harbor Freight for $119. I called another plumber, who installed it in about 45 minutes and charged me $250 for the installation. My total cost: $369. Done Right's quote: $3,571. Difference: $3,202. I understand that businesses need to make a profit and that emergency plumbing work isn't cheap, but there is a huge difference between $369 and $3,571 for the same basic pump replacement. I gave this company a second chance after the owner made things right the first time. After this experience, there will not be a third.

Documented proof by the home inspector of two unprotected live electrical wires, causing serious safety issues. One of the live wires was literally just hanging out the side of the house. SO dangerous! Ended up finding two more unprotected live wires since I bought the place - nearly electrocuted myself on one of them. Brand new windows weren't sealed leaving cold air streaming into the house all winter. Duct work not sealed causing air to blow throughout the basement. I found two vents that they floored over and didn't bother to seal them up. I had hot air just blowing underneath the floor. HVAC return vents were covered up in the lower floor causing a negative pressure issue in the basement. New laundry closet door opening was built too small so you can't open up washer and dryer doors. They put in brand new windows and doors throughout the house. Every single window frame has paint on it. Every single door hinge was partially painted over. Just shoddy, sloppy work. Material between kitchen backsplash tiles isn't grout - might just be plaster, not quite sure. Took a sample of the material to a local hardware store and they confirmed it's not grout. Whatever they used it's just crumbling apart and leaves a white coating on anything that touches it. Have to completely redo that now. The list goes on and on. Stay away from this place. It might initially look good (that's what sucked us in), but once you take a closer look you'll quickly see how sloppy and neglectful they are. I'm so upset and literally am now fearful that I'm going to discover another exposed live wire and get hurt. Probably time to call a governing authority about that.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!…read more Troy was recommended to me by a cabinet company, so I made the trip to Newark to check it out. The $1499 special has very little to choose from, but I managed to find two pieces (read remnants) that would work for me. Template and install time quoted were very quick (should have been a red flag). Then they broke one of the pieces, so I had to go back and pick another. When it came time to install, the guys were very rude, and couldn't install one of the pieces because it needed to be cut and pieced in order to get it in the space. Told me they would be back tomorrow. Well, tomorrow is here, and no installers. They never notified the scheduler that they needed to come back, so I'm pushed back another day. Also, they made a mess in my bathroom, and didn't clean up after themselves. Also, the counter has sand marks in it, so it will now have to be polished where it was glued. I highly recommend that you look elsewhere for your needs, because this place is terrible. Salesperson won't call me back, manager won't call me back. Also, they charge you the credit card fees. Bad business in my opinion, and I've been self employed for almost 40 years.
