Beware of this bank!!! GSB is extremely out of date with their app capabilities and extremely slow to process things. I withdrew money from my account there to open a new account with another bank and Guardian would not release the funds that are legitimately and legally mine for three days. This is unacceptable in today's society. My new bank had to advocate with me to get my savings from them. Terrible slow, service that questioned me relentlessly to keep my account open when I wanted to end service with them. read more

Most ridiculous company I've worked with. Sold 4 houses in 20 years and this place is ghetto! They're not even my bank they're the buyers but have held the closing up for over a week because they can't get it together! Wait till the very last second literally two days before the scheduled closing to decide they need more information that they 1000% DONT need because its not a government loan. Not to mention that a 1/4 of the paperwork they should (ALL OTHER REAL BANKS HANDLE) do then once again wait till the last second to say they're not handling it. Completely unprofessional and made a perfectly easy transaction way more difficult and headache inducing then it should be. 0/10 recommend. Run GO TO A REAL BANK! read more

Denny was the best loan officer I have had. My wife and I have purchased our 3rd home now - moving as out needs change with additions to our family. Now we have had three different loan offers and three different experiences - by far Denny was the best. Can't tell you how many times we call to discuss ongoing financials. The only reason i gave them one star is I cannot give them zero stars or negative stars. As stated before terrible customer service. actually using the term customer service is a bit of a stretch. They will try and find was to raise closing cost, loan changes every week. just trying to figure out ways to steal money from you to put in there pocket. completely untrustworthy.
