I hired Liam to install additional pavers and a downspout extension. The written quote stated that the work would "extend and improve the existing surface" and that "materials and workmanship are guaranteed," with cleanup included upon completion. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with both the quality of the work and the cleanup. Construction debris was left in my garden beds, rocks and gravel were left in piles, and planter pots and other heavy items were not returned to their original locations. My main concern is that the completed paver area now contains a depression of approximately 3 inches. This is a significant accessibility issue because the area is used by my son, who uses a wheelchair. Before the work was done, the surface was level and accessible. The new depression creates a barrier that did not previously exist. When I contacted Liam about correcting the issue, I was surprised to receive a quote charging additional money to repair what I believe is a workmanship problem. I only requested that the depression be fixed. After discussing my concerns, I did not receive a resolution or a comment. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this contractor for projects where accessibility, attention to detail, and follow-through on workmanship guarantees are important.
