Yesterday, I cleared one and asked that it be sent to another investment company. The wait yesterday was close to an hour. Today, it was 2hrs, 24mins, 10 secs....see phone register. Luckily, I had speaker phone so I could put the phone down and do some work. A rep finally got on and he was able to close this 401K and he's going to mail it to me but then put me on hold to get the rollover taken care of......that was a wait of now over 3 hours. So, if the recording said my call was important to them.....that's a lie Fidelity sucks

First, the debit card is crap--the security is offshore and wildly inconsistent--I expected a block when I was travelling and spending (nothing) I got a block when I was in Whole Foods (for a purchase under $100). And it has been a NIGHTMARE to unblock the card ever since, with no notice or help from the bank. Much wasted time on hold 'we are experiencing heavier than normal call volume' EVERY time. And when using the "mobile deposit" feature, it is not revealed but they break the deposit into weirder smaller amounts and HOLD THE FUNDS as they are released--I don't really care, because luckily I have the funds I need above and beyond my deposit--but if were living on paper check deposits I'd be out of luck. And I don't like to have to pay attention to when funds clear. Customer service is very poor--heavily dependent on outsourced and offshore for the debit card, and younger staff who man the "chat feature" but have no authority to make decisions. I'm so disappointed, but I can't stick with such an unprofessional and sloppy financial institution.
