The only store close to where I was that was open before 11am was Quicksave Games, so I drove the extra distance to Fitchburg to check them out. I knew the general value of my games going in and was pleasantly surprised at the amount I was offered in trade. I ended up finding a couple PS4 VR games that I had been searching for and they gave me a little cash too to cover the remainder of the trade value. The games I found were reasonably priced based on their Price Charting value. The store has an excellent selection of both retro and current games. I was impressed by finding video game guides as well. If you need console/controller repair or swapping out dead batteries in video games, those are services they offer. I'm glad I made the decision to stop at Quicksave Games and would do so again if the opportunity arises.

Which isn't horrible, but the controllers were a whole different level of stupid. They were heavily used, had bad stick-drift, and they cost 50 dollars! I could buy a PS5 controller for around 65 dollars. Over the amount of time that i had the PS4 i bought 17 games for a total of a little over 150 dollars. so that brings the total up to 500 dollars! i went to return it recently and they gave me 120 dollars. for all of it and some other consoles such as 2 Xbox 360's and 7 controllers and games and a Wii with 3 controllers and about 20 games each. 120 dollars. I will likely never come back unless i am buying games.

One fellow working there said there were no classic Doctor Who shows on blu-ray when there were at least ten or eleven sets available in this format in region 1. The guy obviously wasn't every knowledgeable. A bit rude on top of it. Worse, they willingly sold me a blu-ray that was a region 2 from the UK. There were people chatting at the counter when we came in, so Carla didn't see that I was with anyone when I entered the store. She was sure to ask me if I needed help with anything, which is a first in the slew of comic and game shops I've been to recently. The shop is set up with different rooms devoted to your interest, with comics in one wing and games in another, and more general books and collectibles merchandise in the main room where you enter. If you head to the back, you'll find space for game playing and where Don is organizing his back stock of comics. The shop on the whole is bright and colorful, and I felt totally welcome to browse. Don and Carla had a nice word for everyone who came in the store, and it was pretty clear that they have a small army of loyal customers. The outside of the store isn't much to look at - it's situated in an industrial-looking strip mall - but don't let that deter you from the checking out their cozy shop. Even if you're not a full-on geek, there are still things for you here - several of their games are great for a game night with friends.

I had purchased a board game but had to email them to cancel the order before they would ship it. I received an email from them two hours later that they canceled without any issues! The second time I contacted them, it was for a pre-owned item that I purchased that came with at least 15+ expansions (Too Many Bones EVERYTHING) and the only thing that wasn't accounted for was a missing dice (which I would say is pretty good all things considering). I've seen many times on Reddit of people who had a missing component and that Noble Knight Games have inventory/stock of missing parts/components which they can send replacements to you. Unfortunately they didn't have the dice that I was missing, so they instead issued me a partial refund which I was fine with as the bundle was still worth it value-wise. There weren't big elaborate hoops that I had to jump through to be made right, and I can just tell they want their customers to be satisfied at the end of the day and not feel to be made like we're lying. They're now my first stop to buy pre-owned games because not only do they have really competitive prices, but if I'm missing any components, I at least have a peace of mind knowing their customer service is second to none.
