The rooms are fairly small, fairly clean, and fairly full of amenities. Our room was cleaned every morning. The staff is very quiet and may come off as dismissive but they gave us zero problems. For $50-$70 a night in Central London, this place is just fine. If you want a slight upgrade over a hostel than this is your place. If you want something that is a little nicer there are plenty of options on this street. Leaving it at 4 stars because the shower is very small.

On the day we checked out, the hotel graciously allowed us to leave our luggage again as we were not leaving London until evening. Our room was perfect for the two of us, and was very quiet with comfortable beds. Best of all was the full breakfast, which was delicious and included everything we could possibly have wanted. We were very close to the British Museum, and just a few minutes walk from St. Pancras and Kings Cross stations which allowed us to get to several locations throughout London very quickly. Our stay was in February, so I am not sure whether or not The George has air conditioning for a comfortable summer stay, but I would definitely stay here again.

This "hotel" had a shared bathroom, slanting floors, a clock that clearly had not worked in many years and an odd smell. Pros: In 5 years I have not forgotten this "hotel's" name because it was mentioned at so many reunions as the worst "hotel" my family has ever stayed in. Why is that a pro? Because it has given us so much laughter and shared ridiculous memories that maybe it's magical in that weird British way. Cons: no elevator (they're at least honest about this on the site) weird smell shared bathroom bathtub with no shower curtain and no walls that was freely standing next to the toilet. Uncomfortable beds slanted floors (I mean REAL slanted) the most hilariously broken clock of all time. Times this clock can tell: 1 c 1. t 3 o. End of list. If I remember correctly, the staff wasn't unpleasant, but they just couldn't make up for all the other things that this had wrong with it. To sum up: backpacking after college approved. We also liked that it had free cancellation and an en suite bathroom. The room was a little tight for four people, but that's to be expected when staying in the city. The hotel was easily accessible from the tube; it was a short walk (also 10 minutes) from Russell Square station (Piccadilly line). We arrived before the designated check-in time but were able to leave our bags with reception for the morning. All of the staff were friendly and pleasant during our stay. The rooms were clean and had the necessary amenities - clean towels, soap, body wash/shampoo, toilet paper, television, hair dryer, etc. The room also had a desk, electric kettle, and coffee/tea offerings. WiFi worked on the property without issue. Our room was on the basement level and the windows were open for a breeze; even with the windows open, noise disruption from the street was minimal. The complimentary full English and continental breakfast was a nice amenity. The dining room (also located with the reception/lounge area) had a classy feel to it with the decorated round tables and table settings. The continental breakfast (fruit, pastries, cheese, yogurt, and cereal) were buffet-style at the counter. The full English breakfast order was taken by the table staff and you could pick and choose which English breakfast items you wanted on your plate. Everyone was also given the choice of white or wheat toast, and the table was set with butter and an assortment of jams; other condiments such as Nutella and Marmite were available at the buffet counter. Coffee, juice (apple and orange), and water were also available. This sit-down breakfast was a nice way to start the day in London. After checkout, we were again able to store our bags with reception until the afternoon. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay at Euro Hotel and I would come here again.

Just returned from a tour of Edinburgh Castle's British Army Stockade accommodations : A 5 foot X 12 foot cell with a sink. The only difference was my cell had color TV and good internet. Toilets and 2'x2' shower that I could not turn around in without opening the door, awaited me, and all other guests down the hall. Happily, the rations for breakfast came with the cell: Powdered eggs, small slice of "bacon" (ham), one (1) finger sausage, baked beans, tomato, mushrooms, were tasteless. The toast was good, and breakfast service was so cheerful I'm almost compelled to add a star if not for the outrageously high price. The cell block would be great for young travelers on a tight budget, if the price matched the accommodations. I will never return.

They are comfortable and the controls present in the walls give good control over the temperature and various lighting settings. Get rid of the frills and just get a bed and internet connection. Unfortunately, all I got was a bed. Being a solo traveler in a booked hotel meant that I was given the smallest room available. It was the size of my walk-in closet back home. The bathroom was this modular design that was placed in the room and the bed was a double. There was absolutely no space to stand up or put luggage anywhere. The bathroom was tiny and reminded me of those toilet/shower combos you see in trains or on ships. Also, I paid for wifi but the wifi signal was barely strong enough to get into my room. Also my particular room was on the 2nd floor and below me was a coffee shop. Apparently the coffee shop had it's stereo speakers built into its ceiling and I could hear music through my floor. Not pleasant at all. Only good thing is that the hotel is right next to the Tube so it's fast to travel anywhere in London. It's walking distance to the Parliament as well. In the future, I'd just pay extra for a better hotel or stay in a hostel and be annoyed by young travelers.

This Tune Hotel is ok for a cheap night stay in London…read more It is situated at Westminster but it is situated on a very busy junction. We stayed in room 114 and we had a very busy junction outside our window and a bright flashing billboard. So throughout the night the light from the billboard was coming through the crack of the side of the curtains so even though the curtains were blackout ones it did not totally prevent light from beaming in. Also the bed was very hard. However saying this the small room was adequate for a nights stay and was very clean and the staff at this hotel was very welcoming and pleasant.
