It arrived buzzing and playing like crap with repairs that were never mentioned. There are glue gobbs in various places and seams, high action and chunks missing in the nut. They described it as great playing, amazing, professional setup, etc. The nut issues cause it to buzz when strumming. When I requested a return I was told I would have to pay return shipping per their policy. I understand a policy, but when something arrives in such bad shape they should work to make things right. I will dispute the charge with my financial institution since they refused to make it right after I gave them the chance.

Then Fred did a great job ordering the "Kryptonite" color Kaizen for us and in particular was able to secure the lighter weight guitar from the two on hand in the warehouse. Then the day the guitar arrived the store manager, Jim, called to make sure we were all good! Yes, yes we are ALL good. Truthfully, some Guitar Center stores have a spotty reputation but the Clearwater store is top shelf with us and I am here to spread the word!

To get this Taylor tuned up, Lee: unshimmed neck, installed custom bone nut (high E and B were buzzing), took down saddle height (to accommodate an under saddle piezo pickup I installed), and installed new Gotoh tuners. In one week's time at reasonably low prices for such high-end craftmanship, this 714 plays better than new!! RECOMMENDED!!
