This year I've had ridiculous car tire issues I am hoping that this past time is the last time I've got to deal with a car tire issue for quite some time. I may have replaced all 4 of my car tires at some point this year at various gas stations and mechanic shops across the Island from Hewlett to Babylon. On Wednesday I got the second flat tire I've gotten within a short span of a few weeks. I felt the familiar car shake of a flat tire while I was on the parkway so I pulled over in Wantagh, saw my tire was indeed flat and called my good friends at AAA. I got the spare donut tire put on the car and drove to BP. They checked my tire and said I needed a new one which I figured. So they ordered a new tire, I had to wait a day and I bought the car back in on Thursday so they could take care of it. They give me a discount for working at the library which I truly appreciate. As long as I'm working in Hewlett, the good old guys at BP might be turning into my regular mechanics that I deal with.

This is my local place to go for the lotto, paper, candy, snacks and cold beer. I have been coming here for about two years now and the same guy is always behind the counter. What a nice guy he is! He is always friendly and remembers what I get whether it be the Quick Pick or my 12 pack of Coors. I never have an issue parking whether it be on Merrick Rd or Taft Ave. They take credit cards. The price on the beer is a little high, but they are open late and closer than 711. The store is clean and orderly and have a wide variety of scratch off lotto tickets.

Interested in customer happiness. Most days I visit the cigar lounge down the block and often drop in here for lunch. They have a selection of Boars Head meats and cheeses. The rolls are fresh and excellent. The sandwiches are piled high. Well priced and include a beverage. I'm staying a regular.
