Caring teachers and staff make sure my son gets everything he needs. National testing shows the students at Trinity perform at or above the national average. I feel my son is challenged and when I talk to students who have transitioned to other schools for high school they feel well prepared or even ahead in their classes. It's a great place for kids to grow up and enjoy their educational experience. We love Trinity Delray and cherish the welcoming family environment.

Genuinely the most poorly run & disgusting school I've ever been to in my life. The staff are so…read moreincompetent and let the school run itself to the ground. Teachers don't teach and wait till the last minute to grade, explain, and email and are truly lazy. The guidance councilors are some of the least hospitable and caring people I've met. Although Mr. Q and Mr. Vanscoy were always helpful, people like Ms. Cadet were always very passive aggressive and made me feel ostracized and uncomfortable in multiple situations. The school was also dirty. There would be trash EVERYWHERE in the Moring from kids eating breakfast that would remain in the same spot for the whole week if not longer. I always felt bad as they only had one male custodian to clean the ENTIRE school which I found quite absurd especially when vast majority of the kids that go to the school act a mess. The bathrooms often had dried menstrual blood on the walls, dust forming stalagmites off the vents (which is not only a fire hazard but a bio hazard as well), and even dried vomit. There was also inch piles worth of pigeon feces in hallways and on the stairwells as well. It is hard to even feel safe when basic necessities such keeping a cleanly environment is so poorly neglected. The programs imo were also poorly run like ib classes getting cut left and right and ap phasing out it felt like it was hard to find a true passion and success for my field. It was also hard to utilize recourses like the library as it was closed nearly every week or had limited access like only keeping the door open the first ten minutes of lunch. Overall, do not go here because everything and anything was poorly managed and the only person who I saw take initiative to better the school at all was probably Ms. Allen.

The early education is lacking and will not prepare your child for upper elementary curriculum. You get what you pay for but in this case I am not sure you get much for your money. There are better options out there and I suggest doing your homework and choosing a better school.

This C.H.O.I.C.E school is a (free) public Montessori elementary school in Delray Beach with a…read morepeace and justice component. All students are selected by lottery after their parents submit them through the CHOICE application, which is due in January of the year before. A unique thing about this school is that it is 1 of 2 public elementary schools in the entire County that accepts 3 year olds into a full-time day program. This is 1 year before VPK, and instead of a half-day program (like VPK), this is a full-day, from 8am-2pm. This is kind of incredible, as we were able to put our 3 year old into school rather than daycare, which is much preferable, as well as cost-saving. However, in order to take advantage of this, you have to submit an application while your child is 2 years old, and most parents are not thinking about applying to the school board website after being a parent for only a couple of years. 3 year olds are put in a mixed classroom of a small group of 3, 4, and 5 year old children, with a lead teacher and an assistant, in a classroom that has Montessori elements to it. All teachers here have received additional schooling in Montessori education, and many have been teaching at the school for decades (as well as having sent their own children to this school). This speaks volumes about the institution itself. We have experienced wonderful care from the teachers here. Spady's official website, like most PBC public school's sites, is confusing and lacks basic information. I knew very little about this school before applying to the program, due to the overwhelming and convoluted system that the School board administers, which is way behind the times. I would love to see a modern website with basic information about the school displayed. If you're reading this, I encourage you to write a review for your children's school, so that parent voices and experiences can shine and help fill in current gaps in information and content.
