And after 7 years and 234k miles, it wasn't a surprise. John took care of it and I traveled the 5 hours from home to get my car 2 days later. Super nice guy in a busy shop. (He likes classics too so you know he knows what he's doing.) Being NAVY aviation man gave him creds with me too. In my business TRUST is absolutely essential because clients rely on my guidance to avoid the nightmare of probate for their estate after they die. Dealing with an auto problem far from home is very precarious too: Who are you to trust in a far away city? It's too easy to take advantage of someone in my situation.
