Zero complaints. David, the owner, was very up front with pricing and the details of the installation and the technical details of the sensor calibration. I called ahead of time, gave him the details of my car, set up an appointment, and it was painless from there. He told me it would take about 1.5 hours but they finished in less than an hour. Caveat emptor - other shops will add a "calibration charge" to a windshield replacement when in most cases the calibration is not necessary. After I talked to David the first time I called around to some other shops and found they all had an extra charge for the calibration. David was up front and said they wouldn't do it unless it was necessary. A simple windshield change does not affect the sensor calibration. If the car has been crashed then it will, but just changing the glass does not upset the calibration. Other shops did not tell me this, just told me the calibration was required. Saved me literally hundred of dollars!! Do your own research and check it out for yourself, but you will wind up here in the end.

I dropped my car off the next morning and was told it would take a few hours which was fine. I never got a call and came back after four hours because my ride had to leave, and they hadn't even started on the car. I asked what the status, and it was just after that moment they realized that the glass they received was broken. Disappointed it wasn't inspected on arrival, and I didn't get a call. It was inconvenient, but things happen. The business took responsibility for that and apologized. I took my car, and they said they would re-order the windshield. Great. I realized there were multiple pair of handprints on the hood of my car, which I found weird since they hadn't done anything with it. I mentioned it before I left. It wasn't until I got home that I realized the fingers of the handprints were pointed toward the nose of the car, and midway up the hood; some people had been sitting on the hood of my car with their hands behind them. New car, ceramic coat, not cheap, not from working on it, not impressed. It caused me to wonder what else. I cannot swear or prove anything because I did not do a walk-around when I dropped it off. I will not make that mistake anywhere again. There was a dent in my passenger door that is going to be $500 to fix, and a significant scratch on the driver side bumper at about middle of the wheel level. I know for a fact that I had not hit anything. It was large enough I would have known if it was road debris. I hand wash my car every week and I washed it 4 days before that, and there were definitely no dents or obvious and irreparable scratches in the plastic bumper. No one else drove my car either. I have not contacted them regarding it, because again, I made the mistake of not doing a walkaround. Oddly enough, it has now been over a week, and they have not contacted me regarding the windshield they were ordering for me. Makes you wonder if they were aware of the damage, embarrassed, or just disorganized to the point of not wanting to follow through with an $800-$900 window replacement. Seems like they would have gone out of their way to remedy previous shortcomings, but like I said, still no call. Nice people. Unprofessional shop who are either unorganized, clumsy, haphazard, unethical, or some combination. Needless to say, I won't be going there again despite my love for supporting small businesses. I have scheduled with someone else.

The first mechanic was fine and fair but took only cash. So for the second problem I needed a Certified one approved by Endurance Warranty. I'm having to appeal both REJECTED claims with them; what a pain! But not with JOHN MARTINEZ of Auto Master. By 2:30 the same day he'd diagnosed that the key fob transponder was dead. Replaced them. And after 7 years and 234k miles, it wasn't a surprise. John took care of it and I traveled the 5 hours from home to get my car 2 days later. Super nice guy in a busy shop. (He likes classics too so you know he knows what he's doing.) Being NAVY aviation man gave him creds with me too. In my business TRUST is absolutely essential because clients rely on my guidance to avoid the nightmare of probate for their estate after they die. Dealing with an auto problem far from home is very precarious too: Who are you to trust in a far away city? It's too easy to take advantage of someone in my situation. One day installation, beautiful handiwork, super-high quality materials...and the staff? Forget about it, these folks were the absolute best to work with.
