Top Up yourself and your tank as you may get caught up in the snail run of a morning rush hour. There a a few choices for refreshments here pizza, subway and the dreaded golden arches food chain amongst them. There is a cash point machine as well. If you don't have the Z app be sure to download it as you can clock up Carwash, coffee and even LPG bottles on each purchase of said products. Normally great service but lately is falling into the same trap as other Gas Stations (I'm sure you…read morecan guess which ones I'm talking about) by spending more time making coffee than serving people who want petrol. I get that you are preying on necessity AND caffeine addiction. That's cool, you're a business, but at least have enough staff to serve those who still need a quick stop for gas. That is supposed to be your core business...right?

Pity the aging pumps are not as fast and productive as their newer counter parts, but it is only petrol after all. Staff are mainly friendly and always willing to help out when necessary. The shop is well stocked considering it's small size, so only has the real basics. Also has a car wash which often gets busy at the weekend.

The staff are friendly locals, who admittedly are slow to help you out (unless you get the nice older man who always gives impeccable service). The petrol can sometimes be on the more expensive side of things so I usually only do a small top up of petrol when I go there. Also because of its size there is only a really small selection of pitt stop goodies you can get there, which is a downfall. So there are no pastries and coffee and things like that, mostly sodas and chips and so forth.

I recognize a few from the Papakura Kingsway one, and they're the good'uns. So good choice Z for staff at your new servo. Good coffee from the gals here, the dude needs a bit of practice but. As my tip says, there's only one driveway in and out, so first visit will confuse some people, there may be a bit of dodgem car action going on if it turns busy. Like everywhere in New Zealand, but still a pleasant surprise, they have a real espresso machine and make the coffee by hand. The store has a fairly small selection of food and beverages in coolers. As for the gas, there's are several pumps and no one seemed to have to wait. It's in the side of the road leaving the airport. It's right by treasure island mini golf, which is just before the butterfly garden, and is probably a useful stop for those who need to fill up before returning a rental car, and who may be hanging out at the activity places by the airport. There's plenty of parking at the gas station.

I have to say that it's possibly the worst location to be in because the drive is quite skinny which makes it a nightmare to turn around in. Also there's not much parking at all, and this is made worse by the fact that it's always busy here, so there are always plenty of cars lying around waiting to be fixed. Apart from the problems of location, the owner of M & L is a really nice guy, and a good mechanic. I never feel as though I'm getting ripped off here, which is good because I'm always quite suspicious of anyone fixing my car.
