That is supposed to be your core business...right?

Pity the aging pumps are not as fast and productive as their newer counter parts, but it is only petrol after all. Staff are mainly friendly and always willing to help out when necessary. The staff are friendly locals, who admittedly are slow to help you out (unless you get the nice older man who always gives impeccable service). The petrol can sometimes be on the more expensive side of things so I usually only do a small top up of petrol when I go there. Also because of its size there is only a really small selection of pitt stop goodies you can get there, which is a downfall. So there are no pastries and coffee and things like that, mostly sodas and chips and so forth.

As for the gas, there's are several pumps and no one seemed to have to wait. It's in the side of the road leaving the airport. It's right by treasure island mini golf, which is just before the butterfly garden, and is probably a useful stop for those who need to fill up before returning a rental car, and who may be hanging out at the activity places by the airport. (Name of places withheld) I was quoted a price to replace the tyre which wasn't very old. They were happy to impugn the reputation of Drury Tires saying that they weren't too good at what they did. I declined that tyre shops offer to replace my tyre and drove with said "out of round" and shaky tyre to Drury Tires and asked them to look at it. Turns out my workshop hadn't tightened the bolts on the wheel which was the cause of the vibration. The tyre was fine. I rang my workshop and put them straight. I wasn't happy at all. Over the years I've been to Drury Tires many times. I replaced the whole set of tyres on my R33 GTS-t and found that I wasn't happy with the performance when cornering and braking. I brought my R33 straight back and upgraded to the more expensive performance tyres which they had in stock. Honestly, these guys rock. Over the years I've been to other tyre dealers but I've always come back to Drury Tires. A south Auckland institution. There is a waiting room, resplendent with toys and tea/coffee making facilities and snack vending machines. For smokers there is an outdoor covered area. I've found their service and workmanship always to be of a high standard as well as competitive in price. I've always paid for moderate to expensive tyres, yet they also have an affordable range of tyres for drivers who don't throw their car around corners at breakneck speeds. And that is why I always buy my tyres at Drury Tires. (American spelling of the word Tyre)
