After viewing the stock of ammo and firearms you decide to pick up a box of ammo. After placing it on the counter something changes your mind. The cold underwhelming customer service strikes you. No help was offered at anytime. Not to assist with finding anything or an offer to show us anything in the case. I quietly decide not to spend a dime in the store. After informing the miserable individual at the cash register that I've changed my mind. He states with agitation and questioning rudeness, "you've changed your mind??" To which I state "yes." As I turn to exit the store, another employee, obviously not happy with his station in life. Parrots the first employees dialog with equal annoyance; "you've changed your mind?" We walk out and get inside the car when my adult son states he heard one fella say to the other "they're not going to buy anything." Now I hadn't heard that myself, but my change of intent to spend in that store was the right choice. To be fair I've been in this store 3 times and only once was the interaction pleasant. Customer service is horrible and prices are neither good or bad, just average. This establishment can never get another dime out of me, in addition, I will share my experience with anyone that will listen. Do better!

I've heard that the Lackawanna River was a good river to fish in the area. I stopped by A&G, a local shop...located directly next to the Lackawanna. I wanted to pick a local's brain about good places to fish. The guys at A&G we're extremely helpful. They gave me the in's and out's of the river and suggested a few local honey holes to fish. These guys truly wanted me to catch fish and to have a good experience. Fishing was tough, as the flows were a bit high...but these guys were spot on!! If you're in the Scranton area and want to do some fly fishing...stop by and pay A&G a visit!!
