On Wednesday I dropped off my rifle (my favorite target gun) at DC Tactical in Huntersville. on Thursday I received a call that it was ready for pickup. Chad did the repairs with better than OEM parts. I shot it at my local range and results were great. Much more stable trigger. Now I like this target rifle even more. I came in at 8:00 PM and was told someone would help me shortly, but that never happened. I ended…read moreup waiting about 50 minutes and went to the front desk multiple times asking for assistance, yet no one came out to help. It also appeared that employees working the floor were avoiding helping with paperwork. Several staff members would go into the back room whenever customers needed assistance instead of helping. I eventually called the store and asked to speak with a manager, but instead of connecting me, the employee asked why I needed to speak with one and never actually put me through to a manager. After waiting nearly an hour without receiving any help, I ended up leaving. This was a very frustrating and unprofessional experience. I hope management or ownership at Blackstone Shooting Sports looks into what happened that evening, because customers should not be left waiting this long without assistance. If someone from management or ownership would like to follow up about this experience, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Other customers complains are valid, I been there a couple of times, usually nobody at the arms sale sections will greet you. They are like TSA agents, just depends on how busy they are and who is on staff. You probably will not see smiles like you walked into a car dealership or Apple store ha. Mike was nice and supportive during the purchase and was welcoming. PSA is very popular. Price is reasonable and they don't have supply chain disruption even during covid . They have everything you need there. Ammos, accessories, whatever you need. Watch for their holiday sales in store or online. Back to the range, there are pistol and rifle section. you can rent pistol and rifle there. $10 to rent for pistol, range time is about $20/hr. Another bad thing about PSA Denver is they are on the remote side of the lake. So it can be a long drive for people don't live nearby.

Humorous and serious in nature it was a good…read moreday. 8 hours of legal coverage, practical use of firearms and range safety plus a 50 round session to prove that you knew how to handle and use firearms. I especially appreciated how serious they were in covering the law and individual responsibility when it comes to carrying a concealed weapon. Exactly how it should be. We were finger printed, filled out the necessary forms and applications and those of us who passed the written test and the range session were given our graduation certificate along with an envelope containing all we needed to submit to the state. Just had to write the check and send it in. They offer a wide variety of courses so check them out. Why this ended up as a three-star rating is that although their training programs are super, their store offers a limited selection of weapons, accessories and ammunition. A lot of that is economy dependent and might improve when the economy does. They do have weapon repair services and I did have a sight replaced with quick turn around.

I had my daughter with me (don't ask) and they had a ball with her. Plus they helped me get a gun that was suited for me and not just one i picked because I liked it. They are very knowledgeable and helpful in there. Plus they offer classes so if you are a rookie they can help you with that as well. Everything you need they have and if they don't have it I'm sure they could order it for you. They also can change the color of your gun there and adjust various settings on your gun. This place is awesome and they will continue to get my business! Love them:)

Couldn't even register to shoot with a US Gov't ID card. Despite my being a 29-year military…read moreveteran, they would not take my Retired Army ID card to get on the firing range. This is illogical in many ways and contradictory to their stated values of patriotism and pro-military. I flew to Matthews to visit family and wanted to shoot with them. Just to get through airport security now a driver's license isn't adequate, so I used my military ID, which is considered an Enhanced ID. It has a scan code for a national database and carries a higher reliability for citizens in good standing than does a driver's license, which sadly can even be obtained by illegal aliens and felons. The man at the range counter was sympathetic since he was a Marine, and he asked his manager, but the manager declined to accept the ID. I would like to have talked with the manager but he wouldn't talk to me about it.
