Absolutely disgusting experience with this place! At first I had high hopes because this is also the place where I took my test to get my LTC. Seemed friendly enough and decent retail section. I went back to get my first firearm and my application came back and they said they had to put a four-day hold before I could purchase the firearm. They tried to insist that I give them the money and purchase the firearm and just wait for the hold to be lifted and I refused. So I left. Went back yesterday to try to get my first firearm and went through the whole process again and this time they insisted I buy the firearm first and then sent my application through just for it to come back denied again! I immediately asked for my refund back because I'm not giving you money for something that I cannot take home with me. He handed me and appeals form and said go file an appeal and when you find out why you were denied then you can come back and we can just finish the process and you can have your firearm. I told him three times that I wanted a refund right then and there and he gave me three different reasons why it was in my best interest to just keep the purchase as is and continue with the appeals process. Then I get home and try to start the appeals process on the website for the FBI and was told that I had to obtain fingerprint cards and send them to the FBI and wait for them to be processed and then they sent me to another web page asking me for a fee to pay for processing etc etc etc. Well I completely got lost and ask them if they would help me with the appeals process and I called my local police department to ask if one of the clerks in the clerk's office could help me and they all said no. The website also told me that the appeals process could take months! Furious and disgusted at this point I went back in the following day to get a full refund and the same guy that waited on me the day before, Zack, insisted that he could not give me my refund back today because the two ladies that work in the office were no call no shows and never showed up for work. I said well there has to be a manager on duty or somebody that can process my refund. He still refused to give me my refund claiming he would take care of me next Tuesday. I told him that's not the law and that he has to give me my refund now. When he saw that I was getting upset he told me to shut up and that all of a sudden magically the lady that was a no call no show for work that day all the sudden appeared and told her to go cut me a check for my refund! I told him I paid cash and I expected cash in return. He refused to give me cash and eventually after several minutes appeared with a check and nodded for me to start walking outside with him. And as we exited the front door he told me to get out of his establishment and don't ever step foot on his effing property again. So I left. And as I was leaving he thought he was going to start lecturing me about how he was right and I was in the wrong. I did not stop to listen I walked away. Absolutely unprofessional and disgusting behavior and I believe it's a scam on their behalf to get people to give them their money and not give them anything in return. read more

I completed a safety course with Garrett Knapik, it took a while to get in to the class but the whole process was very smooth from then on out. Overall, I had a great experience with Garrett and have no complaints with him at all. I thoroughly enjoy the services provided here, but the customer service is hit or miss depending on who is their. I've had times where I was "welcomed with open arms" and asked if I needed help in any way.....and other times where I was ignored then rudely responded to--when I asked certain questions. read more

I'm suffering serious buyer's remorse. I went there near closing time on a Sat. That was my first mistake. I bought a Highpoint there and one of the coolest features of the gun is the optional front grip. They didn't have THE grip made by Highpoint so I got one that fits but...eh. Anyway, while they were doing a background check, after they ran my credit card, they told me they were closing and that I'd have to come back for my weapon. I asked when that was and he told me Tues!!!!!! I was PISSED!!!!! So, I live in Chicopee. As soon as I pulled in my driveway, I get a call saying my background check passed and I can pick up my gun if I was close by. I was so pissed that i just wanted my money back. I was told there would be a 20% restocking fee. My bill was $500. I reminded him the gun never left the store. He said that was store policy. Now I was LIVID. He said I could pick it up if I wasn't too late. I went BACK to West Springfield and picked up my overpriced gun. Like many gun enthusiasts, I will probably spent thousands collecting and shooting. Guns Inc. was able to squeek in one sale with me. If it seemed like a good place to buy guns I would buy several more from them. They will never see another dime of my buisness if for nothing else, out of principle. I feel crapped on. read more

I went in here to buy a holster. I walked in and three employees were huddled up talking. They all turned and one of them said "Can I help you?" in an unwelcoming tone. They all stared at me the whole time I was in the store. I said I was looking for a Glock 19 holster and was questioned by them on why I owned a Glock 19 if I wasn't law enforcement. How about because I legally bought one in a private transfer? Anyway, I just wanted to see if they had a holster for a Glock 19 and they only had two options. I decided to go with a cheap, leather IWB as I had a custom holster arriving in a few weeks. They insisted that I tried a Glock 19 in the holster before buying which was kind of odd as the holster was specifically made for this model handgun and trying it required unpacking the holster. They also asked me if I was an LEO before and looked at me suspiciously again before doing this. At this point I felt obligated to buy it as it was less than $20 and they had unpackaged it. They then insisted on taking a copy of my drivers license. I have no idea why. I've bought holsters many a time without this request, so I know it isn't normal. I should have walked out right there. I could have ordered the same holster on Amazon for less, but wanted to support a local business. Next time I'll just go to Amazon, or GovX. read more
