What an incredible store and range - everything you could possibly want in a gun shop (guns and ammo and accessories of all kinds, quality items, fair pricing) and professional indoor shooting range (at least a dozen stations with lots of safety features). We had a date day there for about $125 for both of us - included range passes, three handgun rentals, two styles of ammo (50 per box), 4 targets, safety glasses, ear protection and the most knowledgeable gun pro walking us through how to use the range & guns safely and efficiently (thanks Leonard, you were awesome)! Went to purchase a compact 9mm for my wife as an anniversary gift. Richard was welcoming, answered all questions, and set us up to try out the guns on the range. Great prices, clean, well lit shop, huge inventory and second to none, no pressure customer service. I just purchased a different firearm at another shop that is closer to home. Recently, at Guns And Gear's they had Ruger days. They were having a drawing for a Ruger max nine. A woman and her husband came in. They were greeted by name by a young man that works at Guns And Gear. The young man that greeted them was also the man that drew the winning ticket. And guess who won the gun the woman that he greeted when she came in. I'm not saying the drse was rigged, but it was very suspicious. If they wanted to do the drawing upfront, they should've had somebody in the crowd draw the winning ticket as it stands now it looks like fraud. The drawing was very suspicious to me I don't think it was on the level. I think it was rigged that's just my opinion but now I'm leery of Guns And Gears and the people that work there and the people that run it. read more

After today's experience, I would encourage any prospective member to save their hard earned money. I bought a veterans membership about a year ago, half of what they claim about membership benefits is less than effective. This business is only interested in selling you overpriced merchandise, used firearms as new, (have the proof) and expensive ammunition. The "Director of Training" Mr. Michael Loy, treats his employees bad, and the paying customers worse when he's overwhelmed. (After he knows they secured the money of course.) Idiotic employees. Bought a handgun through them and went to shoot it (they won't let you shoot the gun before you buy it) and it messed up. Understandable manufacturer error. I was told by 2 different employees that I could leave the broken one with them and they could switch it out for a new one with no new paperwork and little hassle. I come in to switch it out like they said, turns out I not only had to do more paperwork; but I had to wait for 10 days to get my new firearm. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless it's just for the range. read more

Just bout my Springfield Hellcat from these guys, they were one of the only places i could find it in stock. Preston really went above and beyond- his follow through and assistance was very impressive! Had a bit of an issue with Courtney- didn't care for her attitude and lack of knowledge, even when she was wrong. But Richard the manager was able to get it all taken care of. He made things right quickly and was very kind and great to work with. Overall the issues were taken care of quickly and my new gun is on its way! Make sure to ask for Preston when you go in. DO NOT USE THEIR GUNSMITH SERVICES. I paid $99 to have a front sight installed on my competition 1911. They installed the wrong height sight post. I went back to have it corrected and was told they would need to replace the rear sight to fix the problem. They had my 1911 for another 3 months and never did a lick of work on it to fix their error. I went back today to get my 1911 back and have my $99 refunded. I lost use of this gun for the entire summer and and all I have to show for it is a useless 1911 with bad sights. read more

Very disappointed to have come specifically for ladies night and you have not updated your hours, I made sure to double check your hours before I decided to drive over. I work until 7, showed up after work for a de-stressing session, only to walk up to locked up doors. Not to mention that I should have written about my first experience here, I wasn't aware of ladies night when I came in on a Thursday and was charged full price, but I let that slide.
