I've had excellent service each time I went there to browse or buy. Employees are very knowledgeable about guns and transparent. Spring lake is the store I frequent. I pass one Guns Plus in Fayetteville but never stopped by because Springlakes Guns Plus brings the best services. Some supplies are limited. You may or may not find what you are looking for but lucky it had what I needed. I am planning to stop by the store in Fayetteville NC just to see their selections and vibes. These guys are awesome! Very friendly and eager to satisfy the customer. I put a gun on layaway and decided I wanted a different gun and my salesperson changed it out with no problem. Jim's charged me a $20 restocking fee to change or cancel my layaway after I have bought numerous guns from them, so I decided I would never do business with them again. I must say that the service at Guns Plus Too has been better that Jim's ever provided. I have not been to the main Guns Plus location, but I would hope their service would be just as good. read more

I'm a first time gun buyer, I had a gun in mind and hit the local shops to see if anyone had one (knowing during this corona/riot panic that nobody would have this particular gun). Guns Plus Too was my 3rd stop on what I though would be a long and fruitless journey. They actually had 2 of the guns I was looking for, at below the average online price I was seeing the gun selling at. They also gave me a lot of good advice, and got me started with some ammo. Outstanding knowledge and customer service. I left there very impressed and would recommend them to anyone, new or experienced. read more

Great place. My first trip there, spent an hour handling almost every firearm, scope, and accessory in the shop and the person there took time to talk about every piece. The boss is always willing to work on the price of almost every item in the shop. I'm on a very limited budget and rarely ever leave without making a purchase if I'm out actually buying and not browsing because of their willingness to make a deal. A previous reviewer called them pompous, I have to disagree. The guys I've spoken with have always been kind and cordial to me, even when I don't spend a penny. And if you want to get every better service, bring them a few Red Bulls. Just my thoughts on the place, its small, limited stock on hand, but great place if you don't mind a bunch of sailor talk. Not for the G-rated types but I think if you bring young kids, they'd adapt and be family-friendly. read more

Not a full-service gun store. I have been there twice, and I have had a very different experience each time-- the first time I came in to do a handgun trade with another private party, and it was a very smooth, pleasant experience all around. But it is the second experience that happened today (which will be my last), that I want to describe. I went there today to do another trade with a different private party, and the reception could not have been more different: a different guy (who seemed to be the head honcho), told me and the other private party that they weren't going to do a private FFL transfer-- this was really a nasty shock because I'd called the place a few days before and told them who I was, that I'd been there before, to ask if they were open memorial day, and to tell them that I would be back to them to do another trade on memorial day-- they knew who I was, that I was coming, and could have called me anytime before I'd driven myself all the way from Charlotte. I don't say all that though, I just want to get the trade done so I point out that I'd done a trade just a week ago and had called in advance to tell them I was coming to do another, and that's when head honcho gets pissy with us. He goes off on a rant about how the guns could be stolen and how they wouldn't do it for liability reasons and how he got his ass chewed off by the owner for doing my last transfer (he mentioned ass-chewing several times actually), and something about an alarm clock. Well, I know enough about FFL law to tell you that the private-party transfer liability was not correct-- and this is a free country, if they wanted to refuse service they could do that for any reason, or no reason, but they didn't have to insult me and the other private party by trying to feed us that malarky. I'm giving this place two stars-- it would be one star, but the fellow I dealt with the first time was also there the second time, and I got the impression that he was not happy with the way things were being handled, and he offered to print us out the forms so the other private party and I could do the transfer ourselves, and I appreciated the gesture, even though I have always done, and will always do all firearm transfers through a licensed FFL, no exceptions. Given our treatment by Mr. Chewed-Ass, I cannot recommend this place, and while I wasn't buying the baloney about liability he was pushing, I have no trouble believing him about the owner being a prick, so my advice is to spend your hard-earned money elsewhere. read more

Nice place...clean and well organised. One of the staff, of the 2 that I've seen on both occasions that I visited the business, is cordial, helpful and knowledgeable. I offered them a quality firearm in trade for a different used one they had in a case. Their's was priced at new retail value, and they offered me LESS than 25% of the value for mine.
