We looked at several photographers and what felt like hundreds of galleries. When we were down to our final four, it was hard for us to make a firm decision, as we were cautious due to the previous bad experience that we had just gone through with the other photographer. Then my fiancé told me "so no to JoJo or did you like her stuff"? I was like. "Who is JoJo? I've never seen Jojo's photos". It gets a little confusing when you're looking at several images, to keep them all straight. Immediately after seeing Joanna's photos, our top 4 got tossed to the side and we knew at that moment we found our photographer :) We spoke on the phone with Joanna and she was super friendly and had answers to all of our questions, and had more to share with us that we didn't think of. We met Joanna at Knights Ferry for our engagement shoot, which is a must (very cool place that she suggested). Joanna was the sweetest person and, this time It felt to us like we were with a real professional. She was constantly helping us get into position, making sure hair wasn't in my fiancé's face. Making sure the lighting was just right before snapping shots. She was in her element, and we couldn't be happier with how this session went! After we parted ways. We were biting our nails waiting to see what we would get in our gallery (after the last disaster with the previous photographer) lol but when that email hit, we stopped what we were doing and went through every image and a huge weight was lifted. We were given the most beautiful pictures and couldn't be happier. We will FINALLY have good pictures of us hanging in our house that weren't taken from an iPhone lol. If you've considered boudoir and aren't sure where to start, I couldn't recommend Lynn more. I…read morewanted to do a shoot for my husband for our first anniversary (the paper anniversary). Having to reschedule my shoot several times due to a surprise summer job, and later a last minute vacation, Lynn was very accommodating and to say the least, very patient with all the reschedules! We had a consultation early on that laid out how the shoot would work and what my package options were (there's definitely something for everyone). I settled on a special package that included a photo album, digital copies on a usb, and a digital brag book for our phones. I wasn't particularly nervous going into the shoot, as I am already very comfortable with my body, but for anyone having any doubts, I assure you that Lynn makes everything not only comfortable, but fun! Though I did not partake, there is always wine available at the shoot to help ease your nerves too! My hair and makeup was done by Erica and I'd highly recommend doing the same. It makes it so much easier to jump right into the shoot and you don't have to worry about your hair or makeup getting messed up before hand. Besides, Erica does an amazing job and made me feel gorgeous! The shoot is laid out in an apartment and Lynn walks you through all your poses, even facial expressions. She definitely knows what she is doing! It was amazing going through the photos after she was done with them....and SO HARD to choose between them for the book! She had me looking gorgeous! I must have gone over the photos a half dozen times before I settled on my final choices; again Lynn was very patient :) My book took a couple weeks to come in and I couldn't wait. I checked my email compulsively for the message that it had arrived. The book was an amazing quality and Lynn presented it in a pretty, sturdy, gray box with a pink bow. To say that my husband loved it would be an understatement! He was blown away! And knowing that he can carry the digitals on his phone and computer was a bonus! In short, I could not be happier with my experience and have already mentioned it to several of my friends! Even if you don't have a significant other, do it for yourself...you won't regret it!

I could scarcely believe the gorgeous, sexy woman in the photos was me! Lynn has a real talent for choosing just the right lighting and angles to make her subjects look amazing. Her photos are worthy of a Maxim or Vogue cover. Honestly, they are that good. I went into my viewing session rather skeptical. I mean, I know my body and have never liked being photographed. But, when I saw the quality of Lynn's work, I was amazed. I left her studio even liking my thighs, which is no small thing (neither are they!) Lynn's artistry starts from the time you set up a consultation. You get to see many backgrounds and areas from which Lynn will compose her shots of you. During the shoot, Lynn made me very comfortable. I never had an awkward moment even though I wore only lingerie and swimwear and in some shots, only bubbles.
