I had gotten some dreadful photos at a chain store to send in for a passport renewal and I really did not want to carry those around for the next 10 years so I searched yelp to see other options. Hollywood Photo came up for passport photos so I put in an inquiry on the website. I received a response that yes they did passport photos and to call. I have to admit I was annoyed at having to call but seconds into my call on the phone with Tolga I had a smile on my face. He's just a super pleasant guy! It was easy to schedule an appointment, and the studio is easy to find, just off the 51. There's parking literally in front of the door too! Tolga is just as nice in person and you can tell he really loves his job! I asked him some questions about what he loves about photography and his face was so animated. I love seeing people love what they do! We took a new photo quickly and I gave my approval. Such a better photo than at the drugstore! Better lighting, better camera, and someone who actually knows what they are doing and cares makes a huge difference. Tolga let me know that the digital photo acceptance for passports has been tricky and to let him know if I had an issue. When I tried to submit the next day, I did have an issue and sent him an email. He replied right away with a new image file and that worked great. Not only did I get a photo I was much happier with, it was also a really pleasant experience. I would absolutely recommend Tolga for any photography needs! read more

Excellent passport photos. Very fair price for exactly the specs required for USA passport photos. Great experience! My baby was a little over 4 weeks. He was very specific on things to do before your photo shoot to make things run smoothly and I appreciated it very much much. It's always good to be well prepared with a baby. During the shoot everything went smoothly. You got to pick color blankets and bows and themes for the baby. He has a variety than you can take your pick. When it came to posing my baby he was kind and gentle and you see his expertise. My baby kept waking up just cause she was a little over four weeks so the sooner you get in the studio the better. This was a smooth and stress free environment and I thank him for that. I highly recommend Hollywood Photo Studios. I didn't know what to expect from a photographer in a mall setting but was presently surprised. I work on a Client Success Team so customer service is very important to me. From the beginning to the end, my experience with Tolga and staff was nothing but positive. I needed a business headshot for work and this business delivered. The headshots were affordable and the work was clean and professional. I used the makeup service and Makeup Artist, Bianca transformed me. Her work was magical. If you're like me and end up looking like a clown when trying to apply your own makeup using one of those YouTube tutorials, do yourself a favor and spring for the slight extra for the whole experience (Tipping is appreciated and definitely earned). I have zero regrets. There is another gentleman who works here. And while we had a brief phone and in-person interactions, same thing, great customer service and sense of humor. Tolga makes you feel very comfortable from the very first interaction. He listened to my needs. I had precise instructions for the type of photo I needed, and he delivered exactly what I requested. He experimented with different lighting and poses to produce the desired effect so that when viewing his work, I had a wonderful selection of photos to choose from with variable lighting that produced the desired effect I had hoped for. We had some Christmas/January Birthday photos done by Hollywood Photo Studio in Arrowhead mall and we are quite pleased!! We were extremely bummed to learn that another studio that we had utilized for many years went out of business in all of Arizona and with no warning!! I looked online for a comparable studio and gave up, as I found nothing but the standard JCPenny type studios, nothing creative or unique whatsoever. I'm not sure why Hollywood Photo Studio didn't show up on the radar as exactly what I was looking for to replace our previous studio!! It turns out the other studio went out of business because people took advantage of their super cheap one picture packages and refused to spend additional money. Sad. Fortunately I was in Arrowhead mall (which it is quite RARE for me) and I saw Hollywood Studios. I was impressed with the Christmas props such as a large sit-in sled, Christmas tree and fireplace!! Finally I found another studio that didn't just have silly backdrops!! Our pictures turned out awesome!! They are very unique and amazing!! We will be doing all of our future pictures with Hollywood Photo Studios!! Just so you know, I don't think the pictures on their website or even on Yelp are truly a good representation of what is available in the studios (they have two locations with different prop themes). They offer such amazing props themes that are not even pictured!! When I say prop themes, I mean they actually have PROPS and THEMES not just silly backgrounds. The props are UNIQUE and ELABORATE!!! I suggest visiting the location(s) so that you can get a better idea of what they have to offer!! I don't think you will be disappointed with Hollywood Photo Studios!! read more

Last week, my children and grandchildren all came in for Thanksgiving. This was an event worthy of a photographer to take a much needed family portrait. Ten of us ranged in age from 11 months up to 79 years of age. Tolga was amazing. He related positively to all the children and adults. We all loved him. He worked with us for two hours, and got so many amazing shots that it's hard to decide what to pick. I can't begin to tell you what a positive experience we had. We were using areas all over DC Ranch because we wanted outside photos, the weather cooperated, and Tolga took us to the best spots. My heart is so happy with our photos.
