I have ever heard or witnessed such unprofessional, unsafe, and disruptive work. They covered my kitchen window without notifying me. They have a man on a roof above my bathroom window so I cannot use my bathroom with privacy, again, without making me aware this would happen. There is a man on the next door roof that is not using any kind of harness or safety equipment. Furthermore, I have heard the leader/boss scream at his employees now for an hour. He is constantly screaming at them for urgency but then screaming at them with corrections/frustration as soon as they do anything. They are making a truly inconsiderate and extreme amount of noise with their every action, even considering the fact that they're roofing. Slamming, dropping, dragging, screaming.

Maine ProRoofing was actually the third contractor I contacted, the first was out of town, the…read moresecond, Erie, was a con job who wanted $45K for a mod bit rubber roof for an area of 15 squares. Mike Fox from Maine Proofing came out, walked on the roof, saw the existing patchwork and leaky vents that had been caulked some time ago. He agreed that there was enough slope for a metal roof. I chose a dark blue, standing (hidden) seam. I learned that the roofing was supplied by Maine Amish. I was happy to buy from a local source. Once the dumpster arrived, he and the crew got the job done in three days. The sheathing was intact and did not need replaced. I decided to have the shingles removed, and that was done. He and the crew installed new boots for the vent and caulked them--one of the old ones had a large hornet's inside! They installed a high temp ice and water shield over the whole roof. This was covered by a snap lock standing seam metal roof, 19 gauge, I think. They installed rake trim along the rakes and the gable ends complete with starter J channel, and Z closures at the cap installation, and used Geosill and butylene sealing tape where needed. The debris was cleaned up, at least 99%. I'm happy. I did not get the chance to borrow their ladder to take pics, but my stepson went up and confirmed that it was well done. Think twice before you select this group for snow removal. Last winter(2017) we had a bad storm…read more(among several) and they never showed or called for 3 days. My husband who is a bilateral amputee had to take care of it. Very dangerous for him as he cannot feel the ground beneath him. Their excuse was machines breaking down and not being able to find anyone to snow blow. However, they didn't have the decency to call us. We prepaid for the service and also had a severe medical situation that needed nurses and hospice staff to be able to enter our property. They knew that when we hired them. At the end of the year, I sent in more money to cover if it snowed in March/April. The monies left over would be held for this year (2018). I have called them many, many times over the summer, leaving messages and getting no response. Finally, today contact was made. They couldn't wait to tell me they had received no calls from me (basically that I was a liar) and thought it best to end their service. I agreed. I asked for my refund, she said to read my contract, and hung up on me. Apparently, I have lost my $200+ money that was to roll over to this year. I always paid ahead and if any extra work was done, I paid them cash before they left. We often had to go out after them as well because they would not go down to the tar as requested and created a sheet of ice which was very treacherous for all of us who had to maneuver on it. Very disappointed in their lack of service and would not recommend.

He then told me I should have called him. He claimed the problem was with my e-mail service, not his. My e-mail works fine . It is Mr. Nichols that doesn't. He essentially said he really didn't need my business and that " I contacted him". Yes, from a business ad in which he reached out to the public. I believe there are some responsibility problems here. There is professional help out there, maybe they will return his contact. If not , stay away.
