Good good and service. Got our food and beer promptly. Only in town on my way up to Ketchikan so unfortunately can't eat here again

Good service, food, and nice marina view. Drink menu is fun too. Has a pool table too for those interested.

If you are on your way to or from Cape Scott Park, Raft Cove, San Josef Bay, or where we were headed - Winter Harbour (google maps can't even give you directions there!), and are feeling tired from, or looking forward to, your rain forest adventure, just stop here and relax! The view from the deck towards the Holberg Inlet, the unique art adorning the walls (and the floor, under a stack of chairs), a couple of cold drinks, and the conversation with the server, kept us entertained while waiting for our hot food. Nothing pretentious here! It was great. I can't wait to visit again!

Standard pub grub, often with seafood specials. There's nothing fancy about this place, but it is consistent, and it's the only option. During my latest visit over the summer we were served by a woman that was single-handedly running running the place. She seemed a little stressed, but got it all together and food was out as quickly as possible. Halibut was the special, and when I'm here I always go with the halibut burger if it available. We enjoyed pints of beer on the patio overlooking the water as we waited for our meals. When the burgers came the halibut itself was great. The burgers as a whole were pretty standard and the salad came from a bag. But what are you going to do? Processed cheese slices on burgers are standard in this neck of the woods. Ah well. We were hungry and the food didn't have to be re-hydrated with boiling water. I doubt the Ibis has seen much change over the years. I certainly haven't noticed anything different in the 9+ years I have been coming here. The menus are plastic covered and grubby, the floors stained, the furniture old. But it all kind of lends to the character of the place. If you are visiting the north island area, you're going to stop here. It's what people do. Don't expect glamour, don't expect the best meal of your life. Just go, enjoy the patio, and take it for what it is. They have a nice collection of local art and photography on the walls, which are for sale. There were actually some really beautiful pieces I would love to own.
