You would think that in the heart of fish country that they would do halibut, salmon crab or local prawns in some simple sort of style (like garlic and white wine or even boiled with bottled seafood sauce (always good). But they don't. They don't have BC Spot Prawns. They have farmed Asian Tiger Prawns and frozen calamari. What gives? In recent years they have upgraded their wine list and got rid of the 1970's salad bar. But the wines are still boring Australian and Gato Negro. Why not some of the very good even though inexpensive BC wines like Sumac Ridge or Jackson Triggs? There are so many others. And if you want to charge premium prices for a steak, gets good ones. My filet was tough. Finally, do something about the wait. If you can't serve people their dinner in a reasonable amount of time, turn them away or tell them that dinner will take an hour or more. Enough said. Disappointed.
