Yes, a year and a half later as that was the earliest appointment available for a new patient. I actually showed up on 7/16/25 because I thought that was when it scheduled and they sent me home because I was a year early. When I went for my actual appointment on 7/16/26, I was told that my appointment had been cancelled in December, 2025 because the dr was overbooked and they needed to spread out his appointments. I was never notified. The secretary mgr at the desk then scheduled me for an appointment on August13. She could not enter it in the system because their computers were not working but assured me that it would be entered. She wrote it on a a piece of paper and signed it so I would have it in writing. I went for my appointment today and, you guessed it, no appointment. The dr was there there but I could not see him. The secretary said if I had brought the signed paper with me she would have been able to help me, so the dr had time, I just couldn't be seen. I stupidly believed that I didn't need it, that the girl kept her word and entered the appointment. I wanted to have all my drs through Guthrie as I have been happy with the ones I have so far, but the incompetence of the Dermatology dept has definitely soured my opinion. As this is a two hour round trip, I now know I need to go through a different hospital system. read more

Person at the check-in counter at Guthrie physical therapy in big flats was wearing a hijab and did not speak English to me. Would not look me in the eye and had no manners. I have no complaints about the physical therapy people or the provider itself just this particular weird occurrence read more

They don't give you pain medicine. Alo when you ask for water or anything. It's hours before getting it.. I'm in so much pain. They paused my meds in the middle of the night,???? I need to find out who is going n charge right now at this minute read more

came in got vitals once. Been about 5 hours. intake nurse was rushed and sloppy did not flush iv correctly, no communication what so ever from anyone. No vitals recheck other than intake. Nurse got blood on blanket and did not change blanket when asked. vending machines Hardly any nut free option. Which they can contro. sat forever waiting ad what they come back with is a guess & discharge. They think it's also fund to have issues swallowing and waiting to see primary for over week knowing I haven't been able to drink or eat properly enough to wait that long but was "good enough" for them since not sick enough yet read more

Came here after a visit the day before to Towanda's Community Hospital. Care was better but not well staffed. We needed a Hand Surgeon and after he was called by two different doctors he STILL wouldn't come in. I was told he was on call and he would not come in to look at his hand. Unbelievable. They texted him pictures. Can't wait to see that bill for looking at pictures. Told to call the office in the AM to get an appointment. This is what socialized medicine is gonna be. Our ER doctor who is from Canada told us that in Canada we would wait weeks for an appointment with specialist instead of two days. So now you wait. No sense going to ER anymore. All they do is put a bandaid on it and give you a note to call the MD on Monday. Im grateful it wasn't a holiday on Monday. read more

My brother was in a bad tracker trailer wreck the hospital was very short staffed the Doctors came in the room without speaking. No one helped with him with a bath or get him out the bed because he was unable to. The nursing staff had no bedside manner. My brother has caught an infection because the staff failed to change his dressing on his foot properly. We were 10 hours away from home to be treated so poorly. This hospital needs to be shut down. Thank God he is back in his home town to were he can get better care than he did in this hospital. read more

My wife had her appendix rupture, fever for days. Admitted her @2pm no food or water allowed. I went in the next day the saline bag was empty I changed it out for her so she would not dehydrate. She had not seen a nurse for over 3 hours. She had seen one doctor once the night prior, and at this point it was 24 hrs later and no plan and no doctor. I took her to Binghamton General. read more

Do not schedule an appt with Dr. Gorsline in Orthopedics (3 yellow) if you are looking for treatment or attentiveness to your medical issue. He feels his license is more important then your treatment. He couldn't even tell me what my positive lab results ment even though he is the one that ordered the labs. And even after the labs came back he never even contacted me with the results. I had to call and schedule my own follow up with him. Now 4 weeks in to my knee swollen to the size of a cantaloupe and extreme pain all day every day. I am on day 6 of waiting for him to schedule a referal appt with another department. He even refuses to treat my medically proven knee pain because an I quote, "He doesn't want to jeopardize his license" even though I have no history of drug or alcohols abuse. Basicly, he appears to just be there for the pay check, not the patients. read more

I am writing to share what I believe is a significant plus about one of your employees. Her name is Dee (I don't know her last name) . She works with Med Depot and takes care of my husband's CPAP. On Monday Aug.12 I requested new supplies as we needed to take his to the hospital the next day . He was having surgery on the 13th and would need to spend the night. I did not want to bring the old ones back home. With his recovery from a heart procedure I decided a new set of tubing along with the rest was a better option. Dee and I discussed how I could get the materials, she's in Southport on Tues morning but we would be in Sayre. To alleviate any more stress on me she graciously volunteered to bring them to our home that night after work and she did exactly that. She said it was on her way home and she did it with a smile and a warm heart. We truly appreciated her kindness and professionalism and want to make sure that you know that she went above and beyond what's expected of an employee. Having been a nurse for 35yrs.
