They were able to figure out my A/C problem and fix it in less time than the dealership would've taken and the price was more than half of what the dealership would've asked for. I recommend their services to anybody! I drive a 2013 Toyota Tacoma and have been having issues related to my A/C not working. It has been blowing hot air since December of 2025. With the summer heat finally upon us the windows down wasn't gonna cut it. I took my Toyota to Firestone in town to try and fix the issue for them to just replace my compressor and tell me that I'll have to look elsewhere since they don't deal with dashes. So, I found Crow's and called them up. They were able to fit me in last Thursday (04 June 2026) to see what the issue was with my A/C. Gary kept me well informed on what the issues were or could be and the price estimates that I could be looking at for each course of action. On our day back home, two tires lost tread leaving wires exposed and the probabilities of a flat. Two days later a bubble surfaced on a third tire in the front passenger side, and sure enough driving down the freeway it blew! THIS MAKES THREE-3 tires newly purchased needing to be replaced, all within one week. The BEST PART, when I called Carl to let him know he denied the warranty, refused to replace or refund anything. Then continued to verbally bash me, using profanities and hung up right after telling me GOOD LUCK! When I called back he continued to hang up on me and I quote,"I can do this all day little girl". I came to Pat's Auto repair hoping to get my AC fixed. I was told that the problem was one of two…read morepotential issues, my compressor or the expansion valve needed to be replaced. But the mechanic had no way of identifying which problem it was unless they repaired them each. He never gave me the indication or deliberately said "I can fix the expansion valve but I don't have the equipment to fix the compressor." In fact, he referenced to how he could fix both multiple times. Both would be costly so we decided to start with the expansion valve which was the cheaper one to fix. I allowed him to do the repair in good faith that if this wasn't the correct thing that needed to be replaced then at least we'd know what the issue actually was and that he'd also be able to fix the compressor need be. WRONG. He NEVER told me that he didn't have the equipment at his shop in order to repair the compressor. In fact, I'm quite certain that he said he'd be able to do both. I allowed him to fix my expansion valve and SURPRISE, I still have no AC in my car and I'm out $320 bucks. I'm not a spiteful person and I'm very reasonable but as a mechanic you should communicate the capabilities your shop has before deliberately working on people's cars. I left feeling like I was scammed because in no world would I have allowed him to touch my car and pay him for essentially doing nothing. I appreciate the diagnosis but what good is a diagnosis if you can't do anything to repair the problem. And just so I'm clear, yes I do in fact believe that he fully knew he could not replace my compressor and let me run with the idea that he was capable of doing so. At least I have a brand new expansion valve though, right? All in all I do not recommend coming here unless you want your time and money wasted. If I could give 0 stars, I would but here's one for free Gatorade and water to ride home in the heat I guess.
