Delicious food and always fast service. Quite filling too. Also, if you sign up on their app you can get a free burrito.

Was excited when I saw that Guzman Gomez had drive through but was extremely disappointed when I…read morereceived my order. I'm not one to put bad reviews up but this annoyed me too much not to. Ordered a vegan burrito and when I parked to open it, the ingredients were everywhere and sauce everywhere when I opened up the foil. Went through and asked respectfully if they could make it again dude to it being difficult to eat (the the ingredients were coming out on each end of the burrito and couldn't really put it back together. After I showed the worker he exclaimed "what's wrong with it" and it showed me how low their standards were. I got asked to wait in the waiting bay for them to remake it, which I was happy to do. They returned and gave me a new burrito. I was satisfied with the burrito until I got halfway through to see there was little pieces of chicken at the bottom -only at the bottom!- (I'm vegan) almost as if they did it on purpose!! Can't imagine what I'd do if i was allergic to chicken. Will not return

Buenividos! Damas y Hombres! Finally....! Mexican food done right, in Australia! I've been missing…read morethe taste of any Mexican food here in Australia ever since I came here to Australia from California! I've been a patron of a couple of the franchises in the Sydney area as well as one on the Mid-North Coast. This far I've yet to have had a bad experience. While the food isn't as authentic as living in a region where there is a Mexican community, it's pretty damn good considering how far across the world it's come! Consider the Maccas franchise.... if you think that McDonald's represents the true American-style of hamburgers and chips, you best think again! The meals are tasty, well prepared and represent the Mexican styled meals very well. A bit on the pricey side, I think, but not outrageous. You can order your meal "spicy" or not. If it is still not spicy enough, there are salsas (sauces) available for no extra charge, just ask. Mexican food is not for everyone...I say give it a go! What have you got to lose? My only suggestion is to add to the menu a few things that are authentic Mexican I think people in Australia might enjoy: Horchata - a rice drink Tamarind - a tea drink Carne Asada Beef

Two more burrito challenges have been added since AND a dessert one. Finish and get your picture on the wall. I shared Amarillo fries to start. Curly fries with a cheese sauce. Didn't look like much sauce at first but it had gone to the bottom making most of the chips underneath soggy, which was a shame. The crunchy ones on top dusted with seasoning were yummy. My enchiladas were a decent serving with Cajun spiced corn on the cob and fragrant rice that was more rice than fragrant. Yellow rice is not fragrant if it tastes the same as normal white rice. $6 for a small side serving of avocado was too expensive. I tried my partners nachos but the beef topping tasted... manufactured. Like Mexican or bean soup from a can. The service was fast. We couldn't book for two people. They only take group bookings. Joining the Wests Group that evening gave us a 10% discount.

The Big Ass Burrito Challenge is cool, even though you don't get any reward for finishing something that most likely cost them $2 in wholesale rice, but is awesome nevertheless. Recommended simple place to go for Mexican in Newcastle if you don't mind walking through miles of sad people on pokies. They say things are bigger in Texas and this was only an Australian take on Texan food. As the name…read moresuggests, Mexican is also on offer and makes a great combination. Our waitress for the evening was Aimee. I think she was bombarded by many tables as it was difficult to get her attention for further drink orders; neither was she proactive in asking. A little work polishing her interactions to come across more genuine would go a long way. Some meals were much larger than others and the use of small bowls to divide the sides (salad, chips, beans I can understand though) was pointless to me. Save yourselves more washing up considering it didn't present itself better for having them. We made the right decision skipping entree though. Would have left no room for birthday cake. I ordered the Mexican chicken steak. It was huge! 2 chicken steaks topped with bacon, guacamole and jalepeno sauce served with salad and chips. The salad was undressed and boring. The chicken steaks were over cooked and dry and the lack of jalepeno sauce didn't help that fact. More sauce and more heat please! I tried my partners slow cooked rib eye and my brothers HUGE 600g steak. Both absolutely delicious. Should have ordered steak. Located in the Wests Club at Cardiff with 10% discount for full members. Reserve a table as it was very busy.

When we arrived we were still waiting for a few other people to arrive and were looking through our menus. Our waitress Aimee introduced herself and said we could order drinks at the bar or from her and have them on the tab. She said we could choose but in the end it ended up being whatever you wanted. Sometimes it was a bit hard to get her attention (understandably it was a busy Saturday night and she had multiple tables.) but taking a drink order from one end of the table and not the other is a bit silly. Based on the size of the meals we saw arriving at other tables we opted to skip entrees. I chose the 300g Rib Eye, with chips and salad. These come out medium but I asked for it cooked slightly longer. It took a fair while for the food to arrive but being steak I assumed as much. When I got my food it had come with a Jus sauce That wasn't on the menu. Which was fantastic. The chips were awesome too. The steak well. It was amazing. The char grilled outside with all the herbs and spices and the Jus was nothing short of delicious. The only thing I didn't like is I wanted more. Then I moved to the salad and that's where everything crashed and burned. I'm a big fan of a good salad especially after steak. This salad had no dressing whatsoever (I discovered after desperately digging to the bottom of the bowl), which basically made it taste like eating cardboard with a bit of onion flavour. Most of it was rocket as well. I even tried up ending it on the plate of steak juices but that didn't do much. It was a big let down. I probably would have gave 5 stars if it had not of been for the lack of salad dressing. The price was also quiet reasonable for a steak place.
