It has four levels with three of them having study space. The library section with computers is on level two. It's amazing how productive I am when I have a nice desk and quiet. Inside you'll also find the GMU bookstore; your one stop for pretty much everything. Ironically, you should avoid purchasing textbooks there unless required. The food court has been updated with Panera, among other things you can find classic American food, Chinese, Indian, Burger King, & Desert place. Plus a mini convenience store that has goodies but will empty your pockets. The food court prices aren't terrible, but you'll find that they don't accept most coupons. Every Fall and Spring, there is a massive career fair held on level one of the JC and its really really great. I've able to find two of my most recent jobs through this, I highly recommend attending.

They show you the newest dorms and tell you that your kids gonna be in them, but they'll end up in the oldest.. 2. The school will tell you how safe their campus is with hundreds of cameras everywhere keeping them safe and protected. But when your daughter gets assaulted in the quad suddenly there's no footage of the assault and the star athlete that attacked her has zero consequences and the police reports disappear and they try to make it all go away and pretend that it didn't happen. this all happened years ago, but my daughter still has physical and mental trauma, including severe migraine. It'll probably last her the rest of her life and the university could care less the way we were treated was disgusting. we are reminded every day of the injustice that occurred on this campus when we see our daughter in pain almost a decade later. stay away from this corrupt institution

A lot newer than the Fairfax campus.. they are also building a new auditorium type thing (similiar…read moreto the Patriot Center).. you can see it from the road.. it's HUGE (or look online at the map of GMU). This campus is cleaner, nicer. But it is smaller, and is often quiet and deserted on weekends. The library is usually empty on weekends. It's a good place to study. There's no public parking.. only temporary parking.. if you're gonna be there more than 1 or 2 hours.. you have to pay.

Motivation: If the cost of tuition/books don't inspire you to learn/maintain good grades, I don't know what will. Learning keeps you young: Whether you're 21 or 81 and want to take classes, you should give Strayer University some serious thought.

This was for my exwife becoming a nurse. The ceremony wasn't to long, but this was because I was stuck in traffic on my way to the school. Still the experience was nice, but it was short lived.

This review of the takoma parking campus is based on my experience while I was there from 2016-2018 and not anywhere if any new update to the campus. When comparing the 3 Montgomery College campuses the takoma park campus is the most outdated and old. On one side of the campus you got old building for all the majors and on the other side you have a newer building for all the health science majors. There is a pedestrian bridge that connect the two side together and below is a metro rail. The campus has vending machine and a computer lab where you can go to do work on the computer. There is garage parking on both side of the campus and sometime there is crime of breaking into car and stealing valuable if you leave them in your car. My car got scratches when I parked in the garage. The teachers I had for my anatomy class & sociology were very good when I took them at this campus. All in all, unless you are majoring in the health science majors or looking for a specific professor for your class then I wouldn't recommend coming to this campus compare to the other 2 MC locations.

11/6/21 On my way to my next destination, I came across…read moresome high school kids holding up signs for a arts and crafts event going on in the school. I have never been in this school and I wanted to see what this event was all about. The first thing I see upon entering is a business called Feeling Foxy Confections. The lady and I were both wearing fox shirts and we hit it off well. Looking around I saw some items but did not want to buy her product just yet. I told her I would be back later on. The next real station that caught my eye is a self publisher by the name of C.J Brightley. I am looking at a book called The Wraith and The Rose. This might be the first book I read of hers...okay, I just went back to the school and bought her book for twenty six dollars after tax. I learned that C.J Brightly has a sequel to this book coming out soon. She signed my book twice. I a very much inspired to get my books published. The next person I met is another author and book designer. He goes by the name Larry Issa. He writes children's books and has a new book that just came out. I admire what these two authors have done. The rest of the school look fine, but none of the other stations got my attention like the three table stations I saw. Stopping by W.T Woodson High School was worth it today.

This place can be quite peaceful during the summer season. Even though graduation here is…read moretechnically tomorrow, I counted about five students total actually sitting down at tables and studying. The last time the I was here in late October was quite the opposite. I like this place because I can do some programming work on my own. I actually spend 80% studying and the other 20% implementing. It's nice that they have WIFI for folks to use also. I wouldn't be able to afford a co-working space in this city, and the cafes are never a great option to do actual work. I appreciate that this place is here and open to the public. Most everyone that I have seen in here is utilizing the place for actual work or study. One of the maintenance guys Jose who has worked here for years is also a great asset for the location and the patrons who come here. He has helped me on an occasion and I appreciated it as well.
