Suzanne was super friendly and encouraging, providing insightful tips on how to perfect our ujjayi breath and asanas. We were also motivated just to push ourselves a little more in challenging poses - demanding but fun at the same time :) I definitely recommend this to any beginners or improvers looking to better their yoga technique - and also have a bit of fun while doing so! Will be back to do the Mysore classes for sure!

It is the best Yoga experience I have had to date. The teacher, Suzanne, is absolutely brilliant. She is very friendly and welcoming, I instantly felt at ease. Suzanne clearly has a passion for Yoga and for teaching others about Ashtanga Yoga. It was a two hour class, but we covered a huge amount in that time. The thing I really loved about the class was that Suzanne really explained the basics clearly (including how to breath properly!). I would definitely recommend the beginners class to people starting off in Yoga. The Mysore style classes sound like a really great way of learning too, will have to try and make some of those sessions ;-)

I have both, and arrived early with the intent to inform the instructor, who rushed out of the room before I could talk to her and didn't return until the class began. And then, it was so overcrowded I couldn't see her and had a difficult time following along. There was very little in the way of introduction. If I hadn't had prior experience with yoga I would have had absolutely no idea what to do. And now, the day after, it appears I did indeed exacerbate some of my injuries. All this for €60! I would have been better off watching a video.

I have attended both Yoga and Pilates classes here and I recommend both. The studio has a very relaxing atmosphere and the instructors are excellent. Class sizes are limited to 10/12 which means that you get personal attention, making it worth the cost. (6 class pack for €75 of €15 drop-in) The website is very easy to navigate and the class schedule is easy to locate and is always up to date. The online booking service is excellent and it tailors your schedule so you can book classes weeks in advance. Just make sure that you book your class in the right location! (there are 2 studios, Ranelagh & Dundrum) There's a great range of classes on offer, yoga, pilates, zumba, tai chi, so there's something for everyone. (Level 1, 2 etc) I particularly love the fact that they offer a student rate of €10 per class!

Don't fear however their upbeat smiles and attitudes will make it totally worth the effort. I've been practicing yoga for a while and have been meaning to check this place out so I decided to take a flow 2 class. This is a little bit more advanced but as with most places the instructor gives variations to all the poses and blocks, straps and cushions are there for everyone to use. Just note that you should bring your own mat or you'll have to rent one for 2euro, so definitely worth the investment if you want to become a regular. The class itself was great, nice and warm so sweated out those pores (they offer hot yoga too). The instructor shows the poses and then walks about the class to assist. Afterwards I decided to indulge in the vegan restaurant... So glad I did! Nice little range of salads and full meals. Pretty reasonable prices to match! Yoga hub is v expensive on a class by class basis so you really want to buy the monthly membership if you want to get into your yoga practice here but definitely worth the experience to try the odd class here and there also.

I really like this gym. Apart from the things I really hate about this gym…read more It's cheap, you don't need yearly contracts or anything like that. Pay as you go, stop paying when you don't want to go anymore. Simple. Also on the plus side, for someone that doesn't use any fancy machinery for his workout, this is awesome. There's a pretty big free weight area, and a very very good number of power racks! If you go to the gym to squat, bench, deadlift and that sort of stuff, Flye Fit has got you covered! Although I tend to keep away from them a bit, there's also a very good number of cardio machines, treadmills, bicycles, those things where you pretend you're walking up stairs, etc. You're a bit out of luck if you want a spa, smiths machine, a pool, back massages, or anything like that. There's equipment there, go and use it. That's pretty much it. What I really really hate about this place? It's a bloody mess most of the times. Spotting someone from the gym staff actually putting things back in their place is a rare sight indeed, and weights, dumbbells, kettle-bells, etc, are left all over the freaking place (it would help if people had better gym-etiquette, but they don't). My second gripe... some of the Personal Trainers don't really set much of an example, on the contrary, they tend to do one of the most annoying things you can do in a crowded gym... being a hoarder. "Oh these 25 sets of dumbbells, and these four 5kg plates? Yeah, we'll be using all of that, sorry!". Gah that makes me so mad! Soooo mad! I need to go lift some heavy things right now, to appease this rage! Gah! So yeah, a decent gym if you want to work out and you don't need anything fancy, or any hand-holding at all. Also helps if you're not intimidated by the sound of weights being dropped much louder than necessary (so ALPHA! GRAW!). Get a couple more staff in this place to keep it a bit less chaotic, and I'd definitely bump up the rating to 4 stars. Don't skip leg day!

This is the most recent Flye Fit Gym in Dublin. The…read morebuilding is a converted old warehouse which resulted in an ample open space. They've been adding more and more equipment since it opened, and now there are plenty of weights to choose from without having to wait. They offer some classes like Yoga (not real yoga, but it's good enough for a gym class), Ryde, Boxing or X Fit, these are all included in your membership, you just need to book online. The Ryde class is pretty good, the bikes have an articulated frame that allows you to move and turn almost like in a real bike. Why isn't this a five star review? There are three things that make the whole experience fall away from perfection: 1. The (revolving) doors. Don't be too fat and/or don't bring a very big bag because you may end up having a really hard time trying to go through these. 2. The shower's water temperature. You just press a button and wait for the water to come out, which is really nice and simple in theory, but, as we all know, reality sucks and you get cold water in the start and really hot scalding water by the end. 3. Disorder in the weights area. The gym isn't the only one to blame here, ofc, though it could enforce a bit better the idea of leaving everything in its right place once you're finished. If you have an OCD it will be a nightmare. Else it can be a pain to try and track down that specific weight or bench you need for your workout. Anyway, I strongly recommend this gym. The price is great value and there is no contract - you can stop paying and going anytime you want, and you can do it online with zero fuss. You can manage everything online, for that matter, since changing your access code to the gym (the card you choose to get through the door) to booking classes. I believe it can be a good gym for a beginner too - if you don't have many specific and special needs. The afternoons are always more crowded - but not too much - as well as Saturday/Sunday mornings.

I paid the student rate of 400 euro for a 12 month membership and you must pay 2 months up front, which is cheaper than mu previous gym. They have a variety of free classes like cross fit, spinning, abs classes, aerobics etc. as well as paid ones which are discounted for members like swimming lessons and yoga. There are a few types of memberships depending on your usage, like off peak, family plan, and 3 monthly etc. at varying prices. There is a Club Vitae app as well that you can use to book any of the classes. They have a nice 22 meter pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. The pool usually only has a few people whenever I'm there, but it's very crowded on weekends when there's kids swimming lessons in the mornings. The weights and cardio room have plenty of treadmills, but only a few of the other machines like bikes and cross trainers. The machines seem kind of old, but they still function fine. The area is smaller than massive gyms like Fly Fit, but they have a big enough weights area but only one of each type of weights machine. The changing rooms are kept very clean. I don't really like the showers as you can't control the temperature and it's quite lukewarm. Also it stops every minute or so and you have to wait a few seconds before you can turn it on again which I found weird. The staff are all very friendly, and the 10% discount on food from the V-Deli as well as the Vitae Spa for members is a nice bonus. They also sell protein powders, bars, coffee, fruit, swim suits, locks and swim caps. Free personal training and designing of a new workout program is also available to members. Overall, flexible membership options at reasonable prices, well kept and well equipped. Cleanliness: 5/5 Crowdedness: 3/5 Variety of Equipment: 3/5 Staff: 5/5 Value and price: 5/5

So yeah, the hotel allows any gender child to access any gender changing room and they say there's nothing they can do. So sorry if you are uncomfortable.
