This reasonably priced golf resort is adjacent to the first growth Chateau Margaux and, at one time, was part of the wine estate.
It is a large 100-room property; however, due to the spacious rooms and floor layout, there remains a good deal of privacy. The on-site restaurants are good - the Gastronomic Restaurant is formal; the Brasserie du Lac is casual. Both maintain decent wine lists. Since the region is the French countryside where businesses close early, for late-night diners, the hotel's restaurants are a welcomed respite.
The hotel's best amenity is the spa. Not only does the on-site spa offer full massage and beauty treatments; there is also a heated, indoor swimming pool, dry sauna and a Turkish hammam included with a hotel room reservation.
