Though, I always tend to buy rice wine (I can't find rice wine--xiaxing wine--anywhere else), miso, and specific noodles here. In terms of vegetables, if you're willing to look around, check Oriental Supermarket beforehand. Veggie prices are often about the same, but sometimes one store seems to have a fresher stock. A lot of the products are sort of dusty, so I usually check the expiration/package date on sauces just to make sure. So far, I haven't come across anything that's out of date.

Even if there is only one cash register, the business flows quickly. The staff know their stuff! I understand that this was not the supermarket's bad, but the manufacturer's bad. Either way, we weren't going to eat a bag of rice that had bugs in it and as a customer, it was the supermarket's issue with their supplier. So, I brought the rice back to return it and had to *argue with the staff* for them to believe me. They insisted that it was just string, so I asked them how could string be sticky or have this texture?! Anyway, they very adamantly let me exchange it and warned me that I couldn't just buy their product, eat it, then return it because I didn't like it. It was kind of ridiculous and rude. We didn't eat the rice because it was bad, and why would I waste my day carrying a 10lb bag of rice to return it if it was good? I went back again recently to stock up on my usual foods. The lady asked if I wanted a bag and I said yes. She warned me that they started charging 1kr for bags since about a month ago, but this time she wouldn't charge me because I didn't know. I said thank you and went home only to see on the receipt that she charged me anyway. I know it was only 1kr, but it was dishonest. So, it looks like they've hired some slightly rude and possibly dishonest people there now. Unfortunate, really. Albeit the service, I still come here to get my tofu, noodles, and condiments.

One sandwich was on a fresh made baguette while the other was sliced from a loaf. Both were packed full of fresh veg, homemade dressing and cheese. Take a look at the photos for the details. It makes me crazy that I can't get this back home. Is it really that hard? We ate in the nearby park and tossed a few crumbs off to the birds to get a better look at them. The board consisted of wild boar sausage with broche bun, wild boar taco, peppercorn fries, and wild boar lasagna. The board was quite heavy and salty. You're in the right place. We stopped in not long before closing time and that was probably the only reason we were able to get a much coveted table. The barkeep was nice and let us put in a quick order while also getting us drinks. Unfortunately for me, there were not very many gluten free tapa options on the menu, but there were a few naturally gf. The salami and sausages were thought to have gluten so I went with the smoked shell on shrimp, a cheese dip, and some salad with olives. I wasn't crazy about the smoked shrimp but the olives and cheese were good. The husband enjoyed a sausage in bun which he said was great. Overall we liked the vibe and I think if you can eat the locally sourced meats like my husband it's probably a pretty solid place. If you're gf or allergy you'll probably still be hungry at the end of the meal like I was.
