I hired Hero Mold Company to remove black mold that was mainly in my kitchen but also in the…read moreairducts. The first man that came out was extremely nice and professional. I was supposed to have someone come out to get kitchen measurements for it to be reinstalled after the mold removal and happened to message asking for a time frame and was told that they wouldn't be able to come out due to the person having to be out of town. I let them know that I had rearranged schedule to be there and they did eventually find someone else to send out. When the mold removal started, they were supposed to remove all cabinets but left the uppers so they had to send someone back out (who left my house unlocked while running to the dump). The extent of the mold and damage was more than what we thought (I figured it would be) and they ended up having to replace several joists and beams along with subfloor that was completely rotted through in one section. When we went back to the house after everything was done, water started coming out of the wall (from the laundry pipe running into one of the kitchen pipes) that was just replaced and onto the new subfloor. There was water dripping outside the house at thay area and heavily dripping under the house into the new insulation. I let them know immediately and when I explaoned everything I was told it was nothing they did. When the guy came back out again he showed were the cast iron pipe was eroded and that's where the leak was coming from which was where most of the mold and damage was un the first place. Instead of continuing to check while the drywall was off, they assumed that the dishwasher leaking was the issue (which is about 4ft from the worst area amd 2ft from the leaking pipe found) and stopped looking for the issue. They apparently didn't run any water through to make sure there was still no on going leaks in the area and instead just patched everything back up. If cabinets had been reinstalled, we never would have seen the continuing leak until more damage was done and the company wouldn't have been liable due to the time passed. All during the job I kept asking for the kitchen reinstall estimate and finally got a reply along with an estimate to finish replacing a beam around the house. I asked if there was any wiggle room with the price for replacing the beam since I had already spent almost 20k and asked for an itemized price list for the kitchen reinstall and have still not received a reply (even after emailing again to follow up). It has been over two months. I will not be recommending Hero Mold Company to anyone due to all the issues I had.

There was a…read moresubstantial amount of damage done by the install team, every freshly painted door frame is scratched, the new solid wood cabinet doors are scratched. Carpet in the waiting room was installed in the wrong direction (side to side versus length wise) than was discussed with Geoffrey Horn, the estimate coordinator. The hallway carpet pattern is laid in the opposite direction of the rest of the carpet, the patter is unidirectional and the hallway carpet is "backwards" compared to the rest of the carpet. Seams are VISIBLY jagged and uneven. The work performed was not simply careless, it was done without regard or respect. The kind of damage done by Bonitz is indicative of a total lack of regard and respect for my office space, the work done by the contractor, the thoughtfulness, attention to detail, time and money that I put into making this an extraordinary space for my clients. It is one thing to accidentally cause damage, it's one thing to lack the skill to perform a proper installation, it's one thing to make a mistake and take responsibility for the error with a commitment to making it right. This was not the case with Bonitz. These folks came in and just threw carpet on the floor and left. I am clear that the installer DID NOT CARE about the job he was doing. To create the kind of damage that was done and to perform such an awful job is indicative of someone who "just doesn't give a shit". Oh, did I mention that they charged me a LOT of money for the project? Almost $3,700 for 900sq.ft of carpet installed with carpet base. The price was so much that we spoke with the carpet manufacturer because we were concerned about pricing. We were told that the price was high, but that Bonitz was a great company. I liked the carpet and was willing to pay more because I wanted it. What I was COMPLETELY unprepared for was the absolutely awful job performed by Bonitz. I would expect this level of work from a group of high school students doing a carpet install project, not a profession carpet company. I have an email out to Charles Tirpak, Project Manager, and am waiting for a response. I will update this review once I've heard back and have their resolution proposal. At this point, I would recommend that you go ANYWHERE else for your flooring needs.

We are converting it into a medical facility to spay and neuter cats and dogs at a reasonable price. As such, it is imperative that the facility be extremely clean. The floors were a total disaster after years of neglect. Wayne and Cory came in and did a fabulous job restoring the surface by cleaning , waxing and polyurethaning them. They saved us a bundle of money in that they did not require regrinding the surface. These guys are pros.Totally responsible and concerned about customer satisfaction. I have no problem giving them a 5 star rating.
