Great Selection at this location . Some other locations don't have the same stuff. So I'm glad I popped in

I really feel sorry for the H&M staff that has to fix this mess left by customers!

Changing rooms and checkout queues always make me cringe. I'm so not the fashionista so this is not fun for me! I love their clothes and prices though so when I'm looking for something whimsical yet contemporary (my style) I must vist Hennys. They've got these new body shaper jeans and not all black girls got the budunkadunk in their trunk so these were very enticing to me. So enticing that I joined the changing room queue. You should have seen the trunk on EYE! YEP! I'll be back. The End.

    One of the unique touches.

Very clean, spacious. Items are well displayed for.customer to maneuver through the racks. I found they have a lot of the online items I can't find in stores in Queens. Liked the little personal touches. Great selection. Lines can get pretty long but they move fast and the crowd is not overwhelming like some of the other mall locations.

Attempted return on 3/6/16 for an item purchased on 2/12/16 and the manager denied the return

I have spent so much money at this location and even given that it is not in a respected location per say especially for fashion pieces--I have recommended this store several times. My experience here has been a solid 4 stars, but I am infuriated after an experience my father had returning something I bought for him less than a month ago. I bought him a hoodie on 2/12/16 and it was a size too small so he went today return it today (3/6/16) with a receipt, unworn and the tag attached. The associate called a manager who immediately said she would not take the return. My father said he would like a reason and she said "because I said so...its worn." He could not have worn the item because it does not FIT him and it is in brand new condition being that it was kept inside the SAME bag it was purchased in. The manager herself proceeded to circle a contact number on the receipt and said he could call there...what kind of service is this? I would have been able to handle this myself, but it's truly disappointing my father had to have such an embarrassing experience with no reason at all. He proceeded to call the number given and filed a reasonable complaint.

I'm glad that this H&M store has opened in downtown Brooklyn. I rarely visited the other Brooklyn store in Kings Plaza because it was always so darn crowded and the line was always long. Before this store opened, I rarely came downtown to shop for personal items but I love how the area has been revitalized. I always enjoy my shopping experience when I come here.

For someone with such simple taste in clothing, accessories, products and more, I am surprisingly particular. Well, it's a good thing this shop is here. They stock virtually everything a man might need from head to toe. Hats, scarves, gloves, coats, shirts, pants, boots, belts, ties, grooming products, candles, wallets, backpacks, jackets, graphic tees I would actually think about wearing (extremely rare), and more. And what's more? All of it is tasteful, stylish, and comfortable. The phrase "well-curated" was invented to describe this place. Even the music they are playing is well-curated. Plus, the people are nice, there's a tiny Bernie figurine overseeing the return policy, and the sign outside says it's time for bourbon and sweatpants. I agree, it is time for bourbon and sweatpants (even if it is like 9 am right now).

The café appears to have a very small food selection as well but I didn't order from it so don't take my word for it. The space doubles as a design gallery, with art pieces, home decor, etc. for sale. The emphasis on design is apparent before you even step inside. An old-time pushcart propping up a "Welcome" sign catches your eye from the street so you know you're in the right place, which was helpful because the shop is a bit off the beaten path (although not at all hard to find if armed with the address). The site seems to have been chosen specifically for its industrial feel, but there is no trace of coldness from what used to be a factory (and before that, about 100 years ago, a horse stable) The space has a kind of country farmhouse feel to it, with decorative scarves hanging from the brick walls and sponge-painted planks of wood decorating the front-of-house coffee bar. I talked to the manager (Fumio Tashiro, a very hospitable man), who said the café will change ownership in July, and an entirely new drink menu will be rolled out. He mentioned he will still be here, and I plan to come back then and make sure things haven't changed too much, as I really like it the way it is now!

This is a locally owned business with hard working values! I really didn't want the "Karen" and " Ken" reviews who have no credible Yelp review history to ruin the reputation of a great establishment!. But don't take my word for it, come here and see for yourself! Here is my original review and I still stand by it! If you're looking for a "good old neighborhood" store that's been around for years with a little "good old neighborhood" attitude and fully equipped with Brooklyn accent, then come to JMD Square Stores. "You'll feel right at home"! This place brags of old history and memories. I remember coming to this place when I was like 6 years old. Even back then, in the 1980's they sold Puma sneakers, Converse, Wrangler jeans, Le Tigre polo shirts and Hanes t-shirts that would satisfy all your neighborhood clothing needs. Every time I come back home to see my Ma, I make it a point to stop by Brooklyn and see what I can get at Square Stores. They fortunately renovated the store back in the 1990s creating bigger glass window displays showing off their latest sales and styles. They still sell the good old Dickies brand still available in the Mailman Blue, UPS Brown and NY Sanitation Green. I like the fact that Square Stores sticks to their roots but also follows the times and carry brands like Levi's jeans, Timberland boots and always the sporty urban Carhartt clothing line. Sadly, I live in Los Angeles now but it's always a trip to memory lane when I'm back here! Howie is the owner whom I remember way back when his dad ran the store. He's always a familiar face and is obviously from the neighborhood. He's got the good natured attitude and accent to boot!. He's got the good natured attitude and accent to boot!.
