This was a pick up that became a store visit. If you're not an experienced H&M shopper pick up is not easy. I waited on line to be advised to go to the Kiosk. According to the kiosk, the merchandise was not in the building. I had to get back on line and ask for assistance. The customer service was amazing, they were patient and kind. My package just arrived and was not in the system. The dress arrived just as described, it was a thinner material than I expected. Do not fear, Fulton Street is my last H&M review for a while. I've got one more H&M I haven't visited that's on 125th Street. It's closer to home and I've never been to the Harlem H&M. H & M on Fulton Street is a long trip from my apartment. When I go to this neighborhood I spend the day. I'm sure to stop into this H & M because I love their clothes. At H&M I can find something for every season. I'm sure you have seen my posts of sleepwear, jackets, shorts, t-shirts and hoodies. I like all cotton material and H&M has what I like. They have cool merchandise for any season. It's reasonably priced and if you catch a sale it's really inexpensive. The clothes last until I'm sick of seeing myself in them. I'm definitely recommending this Fulton Street location. As for the customer service there's no complaints from me. It's a clean well stocked store with friendly service. read more

Run far away! Returned a bunch of items to this location and decided to purchase two items, so the cashier asked if I wanted to exchange them, I said yes. When she scanned the items so scanned the same shirt 2x. I left the store, which by the way, is not close to my home, and they DOUBLE CHARGED me for a single item I received. There is no store specific number on the receipt so I had to call customer service and they told me there was nothing they could do and that I would have to go back to that specific location. H&M basically stole money from me and they are making the customer go all the way back to the original location. HORRIBLE the SA was so distracted and probably didn't even realize what she did. Changing rooms and checkout queues always make me cringe. I'm so not the fashionista so this is not fun for me! I love their clothes and prices though so when I'm looking for something whimsical yet contemporary (my style) I must vist Hennys. They've got these new body shaper jeans and not all black girls got the budunkadunk in their trunk so these were very enticing to me. So enticing that I joined the changing room queue. Very clean, spacious. Items are well displayed for.customer to maneuver through the racks. I found they have a lot of the online items I can't find in stores in Queens. Liked the little personal touches. Great selection. Lines can get pretty long but they move fast and the crowd is not overwhelming like some of the other mall locations. read more

This place definitely isn't known for their customer service, or their efficiency. This is probably one of the worst H&M's that I have ever shopped in. The store is usually always lacking sizes, has an extremely long line, and has sales associates with nasty attitudes. I am actually not sure how they go about staffing for this location. They should re-think the hiring and on boarding process. I probably won't frequent this store, maybe last-minute, worst case scenario, but not with intention. read more

I have spent so much money at this location and even given that it is not in a respected location per say especially for fashion pieces--I have recommended this store several times. My experience here has been a solid 4 stars, but I am infuriated after an experience my father had returning something I bought for him less than a month ago. I bought him a hoodie on 2/12/16 and it was a size too small so he went today return it today (3/6/16) with a receipt, unworn and the tag attached. The associate called a manager who immediately said she would not take the return. My father said he would like a reason and she said "because I said so...its worn." He could not have worn the item because it does not FIT him and it is in brand new condition being that it was kept inside the SAME bag it was purchased in. The manager herself proceeded to circle a contact number on the receipt and said he could call there...what kind of service is this? I would have been able to handle this myself, but it's truly disappointing my father had to have such an embarrassing experience with no reason at all. I'm glad that this H&M store has opened in downtown Brooklyn. I rarely visited the other Brooklyn store in Kings Plaza because it was always so darn crowded and the line was always long. Before this store opened, I rarely came downtown to shop for personal items but I love how the area has been revitalized. I always enjoy my shopping experience when I come here. read more

As with just about all H&M's this one is modern and bright with its crisp white walls and tall ceilings. Maybe it's the new-store-smell but I like this location a lot. When I was last in the store - on a Saturday - the place was packed. Butttttttt much cleaner and much more organized than I thought it was going to be. In fact I had a good shopping experience... until I went looking for the cashiers and found a line about 30 deep. Ugh. Either they don't have cash registers downstairs in the basement level or they just weren't open. The line was ridiculous and didn't seem to be moving too quickly with only 3 or 4 cashiers open. H&M is my favorite store, so I really look for pleasent positive attitudes. I give H&M on Fulton St. In Brooklyn 2 stars for customer service and here's why,I walked into the store and was actually greeted, not by security Lol.. but by one of the sales associates, which is kind of unusual because most of the time, and I believe you can all agree with me when I say this, there is hardly anyone around to assist you when help is needed.. so that was pleasantly surprising. read more

3 stars. Staff is good, good selection of clothes, but the patrons can be rowdy and ghetto. PLEASE NOTE it is ONLY A FEW BAD APPLES, but It is true. For the most part, people are there to shop and mind their business, but sometimes it is ghetto!! If you want to shop in peace, you need to go early, when they first open. Avoid going after 2 pm on a work day (school kids are insane) and AVOID Saturdays after 12 noon. Sundays are GREAT, if you get there early (before 12 noon). AGAIN, most of the patrons ARE NORMAL, but the few ghetto ones, ruin the store. read more

This place is great if you are skinny, but not so much if you are plus size. There are no signs to point you to plus size section and its not that visible as a plus size section at all. So with that being said I will not shop here for clothes, but will shop here for bags. Its a shame tho. They have nice clothes, to bad they are all in the smaller sections. read more

I'm so glad this H&M came to downtown Brooklyn! The store is kept in pretty neat and they have a decent selection of items. Half of the staff is friendly helpful and knowledgable about the merchandise, the other half is rude, inpatient and lazy. So if you get one of the latter, keep looking for someone who seems to care about their job. Usually some of the employees at the register are very helpful. The changing rooms are pretty organized and the maternity and children section are very convenient since there are few places to go outside of Macy's for these selections on Jay Street. They have a small accessories collection but it's no biggy. My one big gripe would be the music. They have very loud inappropriate music most of the time. It's usually very sexual and very melancholy stuff. I'm shopping, I don't want to feel like I just got dumped or listening am to a dirty phone call. Upbeat and fun please! read more

It seems like a new addition. It has a smaller selection that the one in Manhattan, but it has a lot of great stuff. We came in looking for one piece bathing suits that were not available unfortunately. All in all, they have plenty of trendy and awesome apparel. I really like this H&M! The womens section is on the first floor and children and men were on the lower level. They have a great selection of clothes! Their fitting rooms are spacious and clean/well kept. Their lines too tend to move a bit slow though, and I couldn't find a sale/clearance sections but they did have clearance items through out the store! Found such great deals that Im going back tomorrow to see what I can find! read more

this place is honestly something else. thanks to covid, the fitting room is closed. i don't know if that's with all clothing stores, but whatever. not what i'm here to bitch about. on october 7th, i decided to go to h&m for some shopping. i have a free day, i just got paid, why not? well, let's just say this was the absolute worst experience i've had with them. while i was shopping i noticed that they were really low on good jeans. i grabbed what i could. i get on line and waited for more than half an hour just to get service. the line wasn't even that long; about 5 people max. one cashier was taking awfully long with this lady who attempted to get a deal (i guess it was a buy one get two free). there were two cashiers and both were taking long to serve the customers. one of the customers started complaining while people walked off the line. then, the customers who one cashier was serving decided to fuss with the one who attempted to get a deal, and i didn't mind. but a fight nearly broke out right in the store and the cashiers did absolutely NOTHING! one cashier was even laughing, endorsing that nasty ass fucking behavior. none of the cashiers decided to get the manager, or at least stop this from elevating. & even the management could've done better. this was very unprofessional. extra star ONLY because the clothing was nice (however it was too small, my fault i guess). would post video here but yelp doesn't allow that. read more

Really poorly managed. On a Monday at 7:30 pm the store was packed and there were only two people at the cash registers while at least 3-4 employees were on the floor folding clothing and talking to each other. As a result, lines were very long and tedious as many patrons were buying heaps of clothing and there simply weren't enough cashiers. I won't be returning. read more

I purchase an item that had a on-sale $5 red sticker. After ring-up my items and signing the credit card receipt; My wife notice it showed up as $9.95 on the receipt. We inform the cashier but with her rude ghetto attitude, she just pointed her finger and said "Y'all cant see". I then said, where is there to see? I point to her the $5 Red sticker and point on my receipt that it is showing up as $9.95. Cashier suck her teeth and FINALLY decided to look at the receipt to notice it INDEED had the wrong price. No Apologies and then she SHORT CHANGE H&M by 5 cents. She refunded $5 when she suppose to refund only $4.95. Of course since she was already giving me attitude, I inform her of the mistake and she just got mad and said keep it. Not sure what type of training they are getting but I will not be returning to this ghetto H&M store. read more

This H&M is mediocre at best. They have good sales from time to time but the staff is ratchet as f and not very helpful.

I love buying clothes for my toddler from H&M - good quality, adorable design and reasonable prices. I've been in this store a few times and I honestly can't believe how loud they play the music in the baby/toddler section. It's deafening. And to top it off every other word is Fu*k or Bit*h in the lyrics. I have no idea who the manager is but its like this every time I visit the store. It's not even an option for me to go in if my son is asleep in the stroller. Looks like I'm going to stick to online purchases only or find a different location. read more

I am a fan if only for the plus size women's section. The clothes actually fit true to size. It is not the largest section, but I can at least try on the sizes and then go online and buy items they don't carry in the store. More importantly I love H&M, I can try new trends without spending a ton of $$$. read more
