In my opinion, when comparing this store and the branch in Newcastle, perhaps even adding the branches of Primark in both Oldham and Manchester city centre, closer to my home into the mix, this is one of my favourite stores. The sign is modern and it does have some slightly modern features, and it also seemed less busy than most other city centre stores such as Manchester on my trip. I found the staff to be friendly, we got chatting about technology and Apple pay, I was served quite quickly despite there being a queue, it seemed to be well-managed which was good. The product range was quite satisfactory but mainly summer-based, for example, I found it quite difficult to get long sleeve t-shirts away from their suits and smart range, which was a shame. For a clothes shop, this is probably slightly above average, some of the products in all honesty are just junk and things you would wear once and seem to be of the lower quality, but some things from here are okay, and I feel as one of the better Primark stores I have visited, this store deserves a three star rating.

I must say I don't often shop here unless I've been fortunate enough to receive vouchers to spend instore, however, I do enjoy a gander when I pass by. Some would say they sell overpriced goods and to be honest they are costly for the average student's budget, but I find that their clothing is generally well tailored, the materials are not cheap or tacky looking, and you get unique items rather than items that everyone and their dog are wearing! The store in Sunderland has menswear, ladieswear and also clothing to suit young girls/teens. The layout is well thought out and the store is always immaculate in terms of cleanliness. The lighting is good too and the changing rooms are spacious.

Most of the clothes are rubbish but you can find some decent stuff in there. Half of it is womens and the other half is men's, both the same size and both very cramped to move around in. There are changing rooms, with very low doors which is really odd and uncomfortable. But the staff working on the changing rooms ae always quick to see to you.

This branch of H&M stocks all the different lines including the popular 'Divided' young trend line. They have recently change the layout of the stop so that the Divided range and childrenswear is upstairs, and the ordinary ladieswear and menswear is downstairs. I do love H&M - although I find their trousers are never really long enough for me and the sizing of all their ladieswear generally runs small, there are lots of little bargains to be had by all. The childrenswear is particularly good value, especially the packs of tops and dresses which are great for the upcoming party season. All in all H&M clothes are decent quality, stylish, wash well and not too pricey so good for those of us who wear their clothes for one season then dump them at the back of the wardrobe!

It is a mid sized store, quite narrow so can be difficult to negotiate on a busy Saturday and especially challenging with a pushchair. The range of clothing is good, but aimed primarily at a youthful market and those with more money to spend than the average. Value for money is average as prices are quite high but quality is in general quite good and the clothes are very attractive. It has a mix of high fashion items and more classic pieces but they have a really lovely range of cocktail type dresses.

The only criticism that I have is the fact that the prices are too high and do not reflect the quality of clothing that you receive. I would say that their range is aimed primarily at those in their 20s to 30s but the prices are quite high end. This branch is over two floors and has a full range from jeans to smart clothing. The clothes are of good quality and comprise some classic pieces such as smart trousers to more high fashion items. As for location, this store could not be in a better place. Located in the centre of town, right next to Eldon Square shopping centre, close to all public transport from buses to Metros, it could not be easier to get to. Because it is on two floors, it could be difficult for the less able to get access.

It's a shop that tends to cater more for mature ladies rather than a young clientele but the range seems to be less frumpy than a few years back. At the moment they have some nice ranges in good colours. I'm picky about shops that have bad signage and Bon Marche has a handwritten sign with a misused apostrophe in the doorway which annoys me every time I go by.
