Think twice before you bank here! They won't refund a $25 charge yet. It's been over a year ago and…read moreI got told a bunch of BS that America first and mountain credit union would be very strict and they've given enough credit and courtesy stuff. I understand that if I were to continuously get these charges that I eventually would have to pay it. However, it's been a long time since I got a charge and they don't care to refund it even a manager just gave me a bunch of BS because they'd rather do that. When I said oh well if I told five people they tell five people and so forth and I bet they canceled the accounts or they wouldn't sign up. They flat out didn't care because they don't want to.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have had multiple…read moreunauthorized charges and no one would assist me with disputes it's been since March. They said they can't stop charges to my card and to get a new card which I had multiple times and still somehow charges still come through on the new card. I have been charged overdraft fees totaling over $1,000 in my checking when I had plenty of money in my savings At times when I would use the app to transfer money from saving to checking it wouldn't transfer right away causing more overdraft fees and the fee is charged immediately not even allowing you even a hour to add money into the account to cover the charge . Most places give you at least till end of business day to deposit funds before being charged a fee. when I brought this up they told me I had to connect both accounts for it to automatically pull from my savings to avoid overdraft fees which I thought already was set up. I was told it was $5 to connect it so I agreed as $5 one time connect fee was a lot cheaper then numerous $25 fees. I noticed it was charging a fee of $5 for every transaction left and right which ended up being more each month after I set it up than the overdraft fees of $25 here and there. I spoke to multiple people over the phone about my concerns With the unauthorized charges and fees and they were only hearing fees and kept saying they cant Help me. I asked to speak to a manager and no one would speak to me the few times I asked. I eventually contacted another branch to see if I could sit down with a manager to review my account together to make sense of the fees charges and get some help with the charges I did not recognize the manager was really rude, told me I needed to go over it myself to find the charges which I told him I already did but needed to go over my account still because there was so much. Manager refused to assist me. I switched banks and My account has gone negative with wasatch peaks for things still trying to come out even with my card being locked and when I received a call about the balance I explained to the agent that I would be happy to make a payment as long as someone would sit down with me to go over the account. I was told I would be transferred to a VP and then was hung up on. I never had issues before with wasatch peaks until I sold my home and had a huge amount put into my savings with them and that's when things started to go out of control. I do not recommend them at all. I wish I used the bank I have now and do not charge excessive fees.

O K So this was my first time taking my taxes to anyone to be done and it was the worst time ever…read more Luckily my husband payed attention to everything she typed because she could have screwed us royal on our taxes. She kept putting in wrong numbers and dates not to mention she couldn't seem to figure out how to use the computer keys on the key board. The only good thing was she realized her mistake and after fixing it decided to be kind and not charge us 184 dollars for almost waisted time. I gave it one star for that reason. I think that had she not been new which you could totally tell she was maybe also had she been an actual tax professional and not just some one at least to me seemed like she just read a book took a test and printed off the certificate. I don't think I will go to H&R Block again the lesson has already been learned. It only takes me once.

This comment is pertinent to the HR Block office at 617 Harrisville Road, run by Tracy Bunner. It…read moresounds like some have had bad experiences with the North Ogden Office. Tracy misfiled our taxes in 2015 and 16 under the wrong Tax ID number. We had two returns, a trust and our personal returns to have prepared. I trusted her to know what to do, especially with the trust account. I trusted her "expertise". Boy, did I make a mistake! I didn't find out until this April, 2017, when I found out the Utah Tax Commission had no record of any trust returns filed in our name in either 2015 or 2016. I called the tax commission several times to ask why we had not received our refund for tax year 2016 and each time they could not find any evidence of any refund for 2016. To make a long story short, after some investigation, this April 2017 the tax commission notified us that the tax preparer misfiled our 2015 and 2016 returns under mine and my spouse's social security numbers instead of the trust account tax ID number as she should have. As a result, in 2016 we received a tax refund, for tax year 2015, we were not supposed to have because Tracy misfiled our returns under the wrong tax ID number. As a result, because of her mistake, we will have to reimburse the state for the erroneous 2015 state tax refund. Basically, Tracy told me it is my tough luck for cashing the erroneous refund check and that I'm on my own. She was rude, beligerant and uncooperative and refuses to reimburse me for her filing mistake. Neither she nor the central HR Block Headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri, will reimburse us the $2160.00 we owe the state because of Tracy's screw up. I have had to file a complaint with HR Block company headquarters and have another HR Block tax prep specialist reprocess our tax returns. Tracy's office has a Better Business Bureau complaint coming too. What a hassle! And who knows if we will get reimbursement for our tax preparation "specialist's" stupid mistake! Additional: May 30, 2017: I called the HR Block headquarters complaints department to follow up on my complaint about Tracy Bunner's tax filing mistake and the refund in error. The complaints says Tracy refuses to pay the money she owes me for the $2561.00 the state paid me in error because of her tax filing mistake. The HR Block headquarters refuses to reimburse me for the mistake their tax preparer made.
