We've had just the worst experience with Squire. We are a small business and had contracted them to…read morebuild out a netsuite implementation. We had told them at the outset that this would need to integrate with our CRM, which wasn't settled yet at the time. We decided to go a different direction with the CRM with very little of the netsuite implementation actually done. But Squire billed us over 100% of the initial estimate. We've now spent over a year in good faith trying to get things resolved with them but it's been so bad. Their only rationale was that the billing was progress-billed even though no work was done. I'm not sure how that is an acceptable business practice. We've tried to resolve this with Squire offering 25% of the initial estimate and then 50% of the initial estimate but looks like they prefer to show a large A/R. Unclear how this will get resolved.

I was charged every month for "preparation" and "planning" that were not explained. I was instructed to pay the IRS inordinate amounts of money erroneously putting me in a dire financial position. As a single mother of four, I expressed my deepest concern and asked for clarity. My inquiry was met with confusing conversation, a patronizing attitude and ZERO explanation about their accounting or billing practices. Then he hung up on me. This was the second time he's hung up on me after inquiring about my account. Greg tends to speak in a confusing manner making it near impossible to understand with clarity what he's talking about. If you attempt to advocate for yourself, he won't tolerate frustration and simply hangs up. Please be very careful when dealing with Squire. They do not act as though they care about clients concerns or the relationships that keep them in business. Mismanaged tax issues, refusal to communicate or explain accounting practices. It's been an extremely unsettling and disruptive experience.

Her focus and knowing what you are going to ask before you ask a question goes to her superior credentials and time in the tax industry. All work she has done for me has always provided the most money back to me or the very least amount owed in taxes both federally and state wise. I cannot extol her abilities in just the room here. Before you call anyone else just give her or anyone at The Tax Specialist a call and you'll see why it would be a waste of your time to continue looking for a tax consultant or tax preparer. They can handle even the most difficult tax circumstance serving not only your best interest but I can attest that Su can explain your best options in a way you can understand easily. Each year I simply call 801-254-7421 and know I can relax with the best representation and explanation at tax time.

If it wasn't rectified, were going to owe an extra $10K in taxes. We started the process with him eight months before the pandemic below and the IRS was moving slow enough as they typically do. After the pandemic began, what started as a slow, arduous process suddenly turned into a full IRS lockdown on responsiveness. After several denial letters from the IRS, we just recently got our request approved. Furthermore, he also was successful in abating a $1200 penalty that we were going to have to pay because we filed our S-Corp request late. Last year I had Anastasia and this year Carma and they never questioned anything about what I was filing where as when I worked with one of the guys at a location I got a bunch of grief and questions and weird looks and just made me feel uncomfortable. A few months later they took me to collections saying February wasn't paid and it's my fault. Last winter I hit a deer in my car and had to file a claim. When I called the office Canyon picked up the phone. He had the adjuster at my house the next day to give quote on the damage, my car in the autobody shop the day after that, and had it back as good as new in less than a week. No waiting, no guessing, no frustration. Best insurance experience I've ever had. Canyon and Debra are fantastic and I recommend them to everyone.
