When I asked her to rectify she said she has not time for rectification. When I asked her for my money back she told me she will sent a check to my house, after 3 weeks and emailed her asking for that missed check and she replied she has changed her mind and she will not pay me anything back. We were looking at changing our tax preparer. American Eagle Tax was recommended by someone who owns a business. We had some major changes to our taxes And needed to make mid year adjustments to withholdings and other proactive actions. NEVER GOT BACK WITH US. Everytime I would stop in for update, no action taken. STILL SITTING ON DESK, GATHERING DUST. Here it is middle of January JUST STOPPED IN AND retrieved our PAPERWORK. It is all the more extraordinary I think because of her great success, and indeed she's sometimes in DC itself contributing as good citizens should, to better tax laws. Notwithstanding that, she makes time for many who won't generate large fees because she really does live "by the Book"- When I first met her I was struggling to get my house finalized and closed after paying off a great deal of medical debt. This lady, I later realized, gave me a fictitious "price" for all she did for me, so she could help me get everything together! I hope I can do my work as well as she does hers, all these years, and with as generous a heart!
