It looked like we would be stuck until Tuesday. We found the nearest motel and thought we'd be there for at least two nights. We got a hold of Serge, who has a garage in the small town of Saint Leonard. He opened up shop just for us first thing Monday morning. Once he diagnosed the problem he ended up driving to the town over to pick up the parts he needed. Luckily he was friends with the part store owner, because they also opened up the shop just for us. He picked up the part, fixed our truck, and had us back on the road by 11am. Best of all, his price was absolutely unexpected. I would highly recommend this mechanic. Serge, thanks again for your help and kindness. We made it home safe thank to you. You're a good man.

We stopped at a big box retailer just up the road (shall remain unnamed) but they said it would be a half hour wait. My father in law was going to just change it himself in the parking lot but thanks to Google we found Parent Tire practically across the road. They helped us out right away and treated us fairly and we're on our way again!

My go-to fix has been using a string plug and a small air compressor that I keep under the seat. Dan told me that I needed a thicker ply tire or one with a Kevlar lining. He said that multiple string plugs are a good quick fix, but that I still should have them plugged for safety. Man, they look great. thanks Dan Matt B
