Opted for a laser car wash. It's fast and brush free.
    Rhonda A.

This review is for the HEB Laser Car Wash only. When I was visiting this area last July, I gased up my car and had an option to get a discounted car wash. Now, I am not a fan of 99% of those gas station washes since they are the one's equipped with plastic rollers that scratch the heck out of someone's car paint. No thanks. Happily, this particular facility has a laser automated system that was a reasonable rate with the gas discount option. There was no line to get in. Signs outside easily explain the process. Keep windows rolled up. Hands and body parts inside as well. You know we live in a society where that has to be publicly stated, because that one apple in the barrel wasn't told, bless their hearts. High tech water & soap tracks move over the car, pressurized to remove all those naughty stuck on bugs and road goop. A proper wind blow out moves 95% of the any remaining water off the car, a polish rinse for a few extra dollars is a great investment. It tends to bead the water off in the drying process much faster, while keeping the paint shiny and happy, and giving your vehicle a small protective coat against corrective elements, like bird poop and acid rain. My only sadness, where are these car washes in my Dallas hometown?? I have heard that HEB is trying to crack into our local DFW Mertoplex grocery industry. Perhaps in the coming months, we will be blessed with these cost effective car washes. Love these HEB great, quick, solid washes.

Probably the worst HEB in the whole chain. Constantly discontinuing healthy products. Virtually no deli department to speak of.

When I got to the register I was asked if I had Walgreen's Rewards -- I don't shop at Walgreen's often enough to have any use for something like that, so I said no. The cashier then told me she had to get an override. So because I don't have your dumb rewards program I now have to wait for a manager. Cool. Then she rang me up and my total was almost $60. I asked how much the USB cord was. $12.99. I asked how much the readers were and she told me $36.99. That's obviously not right. Reading glasses are usually under $5 and there was nothing special about these. When I told her it was obviously a mistake, she didn't offer to investigate -- instead she told me that if I wanted the sale price I would need to sign up for Walgreen's Rewards. I tried to explain again that I wasn't looking for the sale price, just the correct price -- readers don't cost $37. She just shrugged and said that's the price that came up on her screen. I told her to keep all of it, used a few choice words, and left. I don't shop here a lot but this was my go-to pharmacy whenever I'm in Corpus Christi. Not anymore. I'll never set foot in this store again. Heading across the street to CVS. We'll see if they can do any better. Update: apparently readers are really expensive now. Screw every one of these stores. Buy them online.

I switched to Walgreen on Staples St. only to find that they are closed on weekends, which is very inconvenient for customers. It seems as though Walgreens does t care much about customers as any of their stores. Unfortunately TRS dropped CVS this year with doesn't leave us many options for pharmacies. Whatever happened to good, efficient customer service.
