This HEB is totally Worth the drive from Dallas. All staff I have encountered at this location are super friendly. It's about customer service. I totally LOVE the bakery department! I tried to place a special order for cake bars from Waxahachie HEB without success. But Kathy from bakery at Ennis HEB came through for my birthday party gathering!! Thanks Kathy!! Well it's an HEB, it pretty much stops right there. Can we just close this location so Kroger will move in? Offering this travesty as a grocery store is a disrespect to the people that live here in Ennis, we deserve better. Too many times I've been told to go to the larger HEB in Waxahachie if I want fresh produce, fresh meat, fresh bakery goods, pretty much everything Walmart, Kroger, Albertson and every other grocery store carries daily, add to it this place is DIRTY, the bathrooms are an OSHA site, there is 1/4 to 1/2 inch of dust on the tops of every fixture and stock rotation is in no way enforced, hostetly the best way to close it and have something better move in is to JUST STOP SHOPPING AT HEB. read more

Happened to be passing thru Ennis (I live in a neighboring city) and needed a few quick grocery items so decided to visit the Ennis HEB store. The young lady named De'Erica (my check-out clerk) was sullen and rude. Because of her and her alone I will never step into another HEB store again. I will stick to my local Kroger where everyone is friendly and welcoming. I did give this store two stars based on cleanliness. It's too bad such a nice store is ruined by employees like De'Erica. I'm hoping management sees this and shows it to her. I'm the guy who made the sinful error of placing my hand basket upon her precious conveyor belt. She's probably rude to everyone so I'm sure she won't even remember me. Hopefully you'll grow up a little bit someday, De'Erica, and will enjoy life a little more. read more

Remind me why I am at the HEB in Ennis, TX? A Dallasite that works in Ennis has to go to the grocery store during his lunch doesn't he? Anyway, I was shocked and reminded how inexpensive things are once you get out of the metroplex. Am I in a different country? Are the prices right? The Ennis HEB is the most disgusting location. I have been to many HEB stores and when I walked through the door, I immediately smelled what could only be described as a dead animal. After searching for my items for 2 minutes, I had to leave. That is how bad the odor was. I will never return to this location and advise my family and friends to do the same. read more

Great prices and great ethnic food section. We rather shop here than over priced central market and sprouts. I can't stand Walmart and I drive past plenty before getting to you guys 20 mins away. It's worth it! And the produce is decently fresh which is a rare find without high prices in Texas. read more
