During that time, I sent multiple emails and placed many calls requesting updates and asking about the status of my matter. Most went unanswered. When I attempted to call, I was repeatedly told he was unavailable, in meetings, or on vacation. Despite my efforts to communicate, I struggled to get any clear information about what work, if any, was being done on my behalf. When I finally expressed concern about the lack of progress and communication, I was told that he was servicing over 500 clients and was asked whether he had done a good job for me in the past. When I called again today to ask why my matter had not been addressed, I was told I was "holding a gun to his head" to get the work done because 30 days ago when I called asking for assistance, I mentioned I would contact the bar association to seek help. My frustration is not only with the lack of progress but also with the lack of professionalism and respect shown throughout the process. I didn't hear from him until months later in 2022 . He totally forgot that I signed up with him . I should have ran fast at that point . I decided to continue on with him . I would later regret that decision. Mr Maizel continued not to show professionalism by not showing up to scheduled meetings, not returning calls/ emails . His lack of professionalism would eventually put my case in a position where I was short of loosing certain rights . He advised me to file an EEOC complaint . When the EEOC issued a right to sue . He dropped my case the same day I received the right to sue notice . Knowing , I only had 90 days to file a lawsuit and that no other lawyer would pick up a case at this late point . When I confronted Mr Maizel he became angry and started verbally attacking me . I reported this behavior to Mr. Weinberg a named partner at the firm which he did nothing.
