Throughout the entire filing-continuance-time consuming performance that reporting to court ultimately becomes Mr. Copoulos was easy to communicate with and constantly kept us abreast of any and all changes. Come time for court, which actually ended up going to trial, Mr. Copoulos genuinely exceeded my expectations with his line of questioning and cross-examination of both myself and my landlord. It was a tough case and I actually thought my landlord's lawyer bested me a few times but Mr. Copoulos was able to call bullsh&t and we came out on top. We were awarded our counterclaim and my landlord had to walk away with an extremely salty, yet magnificently sour face. Needless to say I was very pleased. It is worth mentioning that even if Mr. Copoulos had lost our case, he still would have gotten a five star rating as he really does know his stuff and seems to be an all-around solid guy. Plus, I found his cost to be beyond reasonable and that always helps. Bottom line: if you want great representation for a reasonable fee, go with Mark D. Copoulos.

We had to spend time continuously reviewing the case. My wife's lawyer was playing games to extend the divorce proceedings, and cost me more money. The "great advice" he gave me was to leave my house, rent an apartment, and stop paying my mortgage. The mortgage on the house was in my name only. The ex wife had no obligation to pay it. If I took his advice I would have ruined my credit, and my kids would have been homeless and would have hated me. Near the end of the whole ordeal we were set to meet with a court appointed negotiator to finalize the details of the case. I contacted my ex-wife, her lawyer, and my lawyer, Michael Kuldiner, and told them what I would agree to before we went before the court. The day of the meeting, my wife's lawyer said she would agree to the parameters I had sent in the email. Michael had no idea why the opposing lawyer was agreeing to the parameters of the divorce. She chuckled when she told him that his client, me, had emailed all parties two (2) weeks ago with the list. It was the list of parameters I had given him to negotiate for over a year. The only thing that he was up to date on were the bills to pay him for his "services". I could not recommend finding a different lawyer other than Michael Kuldiner more if you ever need a divorce attorney.

We had to call and write repeatedly, but our sweet spot of opportunity evaporated. He continuously allowed tremendous swaths of time - first, a month: then, three weeks, then almost a month over the holiday season, and now it's too late. He apologized, saying he had been busy. How is that our problem??? If he was too busy to take our case he sure wasn't too busy to take our money. I recommended Faigenbaum to assist my boyfriend's elderly parents and feel unbelievably upset that I wasted their money. I was on a tight timeline (had about 1.5 months until wedding) but was assured that this would be sufficient time given the simplistic nature of our financial situations (e.g. no businesses); however, Daniel Loza was unresponsive during the time leading up to the wedding. I was provided a draft of a prenuptial agreement but it had the wrong name for my spouse (they obviously just did a bad job of modifying a previously-used agreement). Additionally, the date was wrong in at least one place and the agreement did not list my financial assets (as it should in such agreements). I received this draft on Aug 7, 2019. I informed Dan of the mistakes in the draft on that same day. Additionally, I asked him questions about the prenuptial agreement - answers to which I never received. Despite multiple emails to Dan leading up to the wedding, I never received a reply until August 29, 2019 - the day before my wedding. This would obviously not have been enough time to have my fiancé review (with legal counsel) and sign the prenup (even if he delivered a corrected, final version, which he never did). For this incomplete draft of a boilerplate prenuptial agreement, I paid $2500. I would have been content to receive a significant refund (e.g. $1,500-2,000). In the end, I received only a $500 refund which means that I paid $2,000 for an incomplete draft of an agreement that was riddled with errors (as I said, it did not even have the correct name for my fiancé). I do not recommend using this company for any legal services.

Long story short, we were preparing to settle on our first home in Philadelphia when we got a call 24-hours before closing that the mortgage broker we were using was shut down by the federal government for using illegal reverse mortgages. I sent an email to Doug and his firm in the wee hours of the morning and Doug called me first thing to walk me through the legal process, if we decided to sue. Doug explained that while we could pursue legal action, that he didn't believe it was in our best interest. It would be a long process with not much to show for it in the end. He said to move forward with a new mortgage provider and to put this behind you. At the time, I was so upset and wanted nothing more than to go after the company that left us hanging, but Doug gave us a sense of calm and reason. Doug is straightforward, trustworthy, and an attorney that I would be happy to work with at any point. We provided them updates about our situation and instead of providing any solutions we were given a large bill of absolute bs. They never reached out to the person we were having issues with. And they danced around the injunction they were supposed to file. After speaking with Gail we found out it would be very experience to peruse that route. Got it. So we each wasted ~ $1,500 We contacted them to cancel our service and refund the remainder of our money. I emailed to share my dissatisfaction of the firm but instead just received a long email about how great they thought they did. Their office admin contacted us on April 19 and we were told we should receive a check in the mail. Nothing.... it's been a month and we haven't heard anything.
