This is such a wonderful jewellery shop that has been around for decades. The staff are very helpful and will advise on what other items are available to you. They also repair items at extremely reasonable prices. Time to support the small businesses and obtain quality. I cannot fault them on price, service or merchandise. I thoroughly recommend Mallett's as a jeweller's and find it increasing hard to beat in this area. Second to none.

I was particularly impressed with their watch selection which caters for all tastes and price ranges. The shop its self is so tiny, not very pushchair friendly at all, barely room to swing a cat but theres plenty of stock and prices are great. a fantastic shop for the perfect gift

This man took my engagement ring to replace the diamond. What I got back was a squashed ruined…read moremess. Wonky casing withdrips if metal all over the ring. The other diamonds were covered in metal also. When I complained I was treated like a complete idiot. I was told the ring was fine and "what did I know about jewelry" he also leant over the counter and laughed in my face while I was crying. He told me my "so called £300 ring wasn't worth anything".... So he's got a crying woman with a ruined engagement ring and as a jeweller he's telling me to shut up as its not worth his time! He took my ring back to "fix" the damage I was insisting he'd caused..... He took the replacement diamond out (along with 2 others) refunded my repair money and left me with an unwearable engagement ring, due to how squashed and damaged it is.
