For a while we were like nah, we don't need a planner we got this. And we did! The problem came when the execution of the wedding itself came into play. Who would cue the entrance, who would manage the vendors, who would guide the guest transitions, who would check the audio, who would make sure the cake topper made it to the cake, who would make sure our card box got back to us safe and sound? After seeing Alejandro in action it's truly terrifying to think that we were even considering not having a same day coordinator. And let me tell you ... we picked the best of the best! I mean, seriously go to this guy's reviews and IG photos. It's obvious we are not the only ones who share our love of this man and his wedding coordination/planning skills. He was organized, positive, fun (!), and very obviously knew what he was doing. Alejandro and Sparkle Events felt like a friend or a family member who cared as much as we did about having the best wedding ever. Sometimes we'd be like ... let's do this! And he'd be like, I like that but here are some things to think about based on what I've seen. (SO HELPFUL!) He'd listen to our ideas and always try to make it work. He made our day so special. This summer, our Farmers Market held a large event to celebrate our 50th year in business. She was very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. She took care of contacting the property owner and One Call, the company that locates underground power lines to avoid problems when setting up the 30'x40' tent. They also had no problem when I called at the last minute to order a generator and additional tables. Cassidy, in the office, was also extremely helpful, even after hours and on her day off! Everything was perfect, tent was just right as I went with Joelee's recommendation for size and the generator worked well and was filled with gas ( which I did not have to refill when we returned it!). I would definitely recommend Rent E Vent to anyone planning a party or event, whether you are a micro-manager (like me) or someone who wants to "set it, and forget it".

I ended up getting a delivery set up with another company close by, but I did receive a very courteous and professional call from Rent-E-Vent today. Our filming location is about an hour from them but I felt very confident that helping me get what I needed was a top priority. I don't think I have ever taken the time to write a review for a business I did not end up using, but when we go to order additional rental items in the next couple weeks, I will give a close look to Rent-E-Vent on their website which is one of the better ones I have seen in this entire area. 5 stars.
