He is very quick to respond to e-mail correspondence and very thorough on phone conversations. There is so much that goes into these days, but the barn truly has it down to a science. With easy to follow brochures and forms, the planning went so very smoothly. We wanted a very intimate celebration, so we chose a weekday package. It was so affordable and very inclusive, we basically had to sign and choose food and a few decor options. It may sound like we had a simple day, but it was truly anything but. Kim and Kelly designed the most beautiful floral arrangements for the day - I am still shocked at how perfect they were. The entire staff at the barn moved like a well-oiled machine. The Captains House, The Hilltop Pavilion, The Pine Grove, and The Barn are out of a fairy tale. I can't even begin to describe how perfect and beautiful our day was. She wanted a very small immediate family and close friends only wedding and we could not be any happier with her choice for the venue. The Roxbury Barn setting, staff, and food were exceptional! We only had a total of 15 attendees, including the bride and groom. The mountain and luxurious green setting, clear crisp air and forest was a perfect setting for the wedding ceremony. The barn and outdoor area was extremely comfortable for the reception. Every staff member was attentive and very friendly. The food was delicious. Casper (the owner) and Kim (wedding coordinator) made sure that each guest was well taken care of. Our daughter raved about her experience planning the wedding and said that everything exceeded her expectations! We have never seen our daughter happier and so stress free. I found Katie and she was amazing. She was a God sent. She gave us options for everything and walked us through everything. The time difference was a struggle, but she was up late repling to all my messages. I'm the type of bride, where I just wanted to show up and everything was taken care of. Since we were planning from a distance, she made that happen. She went over and beyond with great ideas. On our way to the airport to NY, for our wedding, we found out my husband's suit never arrived in NY. Since we were about to get on a plane, I texted Katie our situation and when we arrived in NY, she had taken care of everything and his suit was being sent overnight. She is absolutely amazing with kids. My son and nephew got a bit wild and put their swords on top of the closet and they were told they would get it back once they were done getting ready and behaved. They called her "the boss" and kept telling my sister in law and I that "the boss" took it. We applauded her. My 2 year old grandson was extra crazy and wanted to run around as we were waiting to go into our reception. She scooped him and kept him in line till we were announced.
